BAR POSITIONING
Constant Loading The bars are automatically drawn from the loading magazine that can house up to 6 bars with maximum 230 mm width or up to 15 bars with maximum 100 mm width and 7500 mm length. The gripper of the pusher is positioned along the V and W axes according to the profile section to be clamped and blocks the profiles. As an option, it can be equipped with the rotation system along the C1 axis for optimal pick-up of sections that must be blocked in the turned position. All movements are CNC controlled.

BAR POSITIONING
AUTOMATIC TURN Placing in the line Quadra is equipped with a profile tilting system that, when needed, rotates the bar with respect to the initial position on the loading magazine, bringing it to the optimal position for feeding it to the processing area. This system is particularly useful for processing particularly high bars, such as curtain wall extrusions or industrial profiles that must be cut in vertical position.
BLOCKING PLAN Lock with care To lock the workpieces safely and prevent the bars from being scratched while fed, the clamping surfaces are made of Arnite®, a plastic material with low coefficient of friction. This adds up to the special high pressure blowing system that creates an air cushion that eliminates any swarf residues. The vertical and horizontal clamps ensure perfect locking of any type of profile without having to use counterblocks.
STORAGE UNIT Workpiece collection Once the profiles are cut, the automatic ejector draws the finished pieces from the cutting unit, conveying them to the belt unloading magazine. This magazine can store bars of up to 4000 mm or, upon request, up to 7500 mm. The processing waste is automatically evacuated through the metal mesh conveyor belt.

QUADRA L0
ZERO COMPROMISES Milling module In the central part of Quadra L0 are situated the milling module, the cutting module and optionally the end-milling module. The NC 4-axis milling module is equipped with 4 electrospindles and enables the whole contour of the workpiece to be machined, however it is oriented.
SMALL BUT STRONG Cutting and end-milling Quadra L0 The secondary cutting module mounts a blade Ø 350 with horizontal movement on three axes NC. The optional end-milling module operates on two NC axes by means of a milling head..
QUADRA L0
All-round milling Quadra is equipped with an exclusive rotary turntable system onto which up to 6 electrospindles (L1-L2-L3) can operate simultaneously with 4-axes interpolation and a 360° milling range around the workpiece. The air cooled electrospindles, develop a maximum power of 5.6 KW in S1 and reach a maximum speed of 24.000 revs/1’. The spindles are equipped with an on/off ignition device that brings the units not involved in the process to offset position, thereby allowing profiles with large cross-sections to pass through and therefore, be processed.

Quick tool change Quadra L1-L2-L3 machines can be optionally equipped with spindles with connector for interchangeable HSK40-C tool holders. A solution packed with advantages: a simple Allen wrench is the only thing needed for rapid tool changes and the system also provides a set of tool holders with tool presetting for use when necessary.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION Not just for doors and windows Quadra L1, L2, L3, thanks to its construction features, is an extremely versatile machine. Its structure and the cyclic operation enables machining of aluminium profiles for doors and windows and of extrusions or workpieces for the industrial sector.

The right cut The Quadra L1, L2, L3 cutting module consists of a 600 mm diameter circular downstroke blade on 3 axes. The cutting angle can range between +48° and -250°. The fully CNC controlled cutting unit allows making different types of profile splicing.

All cutting directions Quadra L2-L3 is equipped with an NC horizontal cutting unit with a 350 mm diameter blade and cutting range from -45° to +45°. The combination of the two cutting modules makes it possible to program the optimal cut at all times also for large size profiles, while also allowing the execution of special cuts.

ANYTHING YOU WANT End milling over 360° Quadra L2 is also equipped with an end milling unit with variable cutter speeds up to 8,000 rpm and fast cutters changeover with pneumatic control. The end milling unit interacts with the horizontal cutting unit, with which it shares the support beam.
Milling module Milling unit on 4-axis CNC designed for machining at head and end of profile at any angle. Interacts with the horizontal cutting-off machine, with which it shares the support beam. The cutting and milling modules enable unloading swarf into a special trapdoor, which can be fitted optionally with a steel chip conveyor belt.
