Quantative Reasoning In order to recieve my degree I had to pass quantitative reasoning, Calculus 1. I took me four tries to scrape by with a C-. I couldn’t understand most of what I was doing in class. It was frustrating and I felt like I was wasting my time trying. I looked over my notes months later and gained a new appreciation for it.

I loved the symbols, especially the integral. The graphs, curves, and vocabulary were really interesting to me from a design perspective. Noticing the beauty in the problems made me

Process Linocut and metal type on letterpress

I combined letterpressed vellum with hand drawn images to create this book. I did multiple runs in different colors to add depth to the images. The cover was printed with metal type on Lettra heavy weight paper.
