S Q U A RSPACE WEB S ITE DES IG N Once the minimalist, yet visually striking aesthetic was established through the custom logo design, the Squarespace site was built to compliment it. Starting with a standard template, custom HTML & CSS coding was used to tailor the site to exact specifications.

C U STOM LOGO D EVEL O PM ENT The goal for this logo was to be timeless, distinct, abstract, and adaptable to multiple areas of design. What was first a hand sketch, was scanned into the computer, re-created in Adobe Illustrator using a touchscreen monitor to create an EPS file that could be used for both digital and print.

Starting with a Wordpress template, I developed HTML and CSS coding to customize the template to our needs. I took online tutorials to learn coding and was able to find any answers I needed through various resources. As the blog got its feet, I acted as a copy editor, tagged posts for SEO prior to publishing, and developed the social media profiles.

Global Luxury properties qualify for special luxury marketing packages, including the double-sided, trifold brochures shown above. My design became the new company standard. The design has proven a more effective way to highlight the properties’ assets and provide thorough information than the previous template.

My redesign of the Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties’ window display template highlights the best of each property with photos, statistics, a brief description, and the type of listing it is. The simplistic, clean layout appeals to the luxury quality of their market.

WHY D O YOU N EED A LEN D ER? Several buyers have made the mistake of touring and falling in love with properties before discussing the financial side with a Lender. Unfortunately, in our fast phasing market, this can often lead to disappointment. There are several variables in the resort market can can make conventional lending a very unconventional experience. In addition, Buyers that are pre-approved have a better chance to get an offer accepted and even more leverage in possible negotiations.

CHOOSING YOUR LEND ER Properties in Summit and Eagle Counties are predominantly owned by second home owners. Lending in our counties can get quite confusing and difficult. We have a personal connection with the Top Lenders in the counties which offer a broad range of programs, but most importantly, that are experts in our Mountain Communities.

P HO TO EDIT I N G The photos for the brochure were procured by keyword searches on stock photo sites, such as Unsplash, contacting architects the broker had worked with in the past, and his previous listing photos. The majority of the photos were then edited in PhotoShop to maintain consistency in saturation and color balance and flipped to face the best direction.

HOMES OF THE MONTH

UMMIT ED ANT

When we look at the growth numbers from the preious few years we area all wondering what is to come in the future? None of us has a crystal ball but we are definitely on the path for a change. In the last few months, the growth came to a slow down and we are now noticing that it is on a slight plateu. The winter season is amongst us and not many sellers are willing to let their property go as they have secured rental revenue for the Winter months. Investing in Real Estate has been proven overtime to be a succesfull move, in my opinion this is still a great time to buy or sell. You can still sell for top dollar or secure a Property to generate revenue in the coming months.
