HASKINS GARDEN CENTRE IN FULL BLOOM FOR ROSE FESTIVAL Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown is hosting a Rose Festival from Thursday May 26 to Thursday July 28, to celebrate one the UK’s favourite flowers. The festival will showcase the vast amount of colours, varieties and versatility of roses. Haskins’ exclusive rose of the year, Serenity, which had its name selected as the winning entry in the ‘Name the Haskins’ Rose of the Year’ competition, will also make its debut. It is available to buy at Haskins for £9.99 throughout the festival. During the festival, customers can learn ways to keep their roses looking their best at a Free Rose Talk by Mike Sokolowski, from David Austin Roses at Haskins in Ferndown at 1:30pm on Tuesday June 14th. The centre will stock the new David Austin roses which will be featured at the 2016 Chelsea Flower Show. Roses originated in China and then spread over the northern hemisphere between 60 to 70 million years ago. Modern roses come in a number of varieties from the patio which are perfect for growing in pots to groundcover which form a carpet of colour. Alasdair Urquhart, plant advisor at Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown, said: “Roses are easy to grow so long as they have deep soil and lots of food. They grow in a variety of colours and many types are wonderfully scented, making them a perfect addition to any garden.”

TAKING WINDOW CLEANING TO NEW LEVELS A WEALTHY property owner was so impressed by his window cleaner he flew him 1,000 miles to Spain to spruce up his £8million holiday villa. Luke Rayner, 27, runs a firm in Sandbanks, Dorset, one of Britain’s most expensive areas to live with dozens of mega-rich clients. But he was stunned when a wealthy customer took a real shining to his work and asked him to clean the windows at his Spanish mansion. He had worked for the client for a “long time” when he was asked to go to posh Puerto Portals for a week. The anonymous customer paid for Luke to fly out to Puerto Portals, an upmarket resort overlooking the Bay of Palma in Mallorca where he had recently bought a property. After reaching the Spanish island, Luke was greeted with the homeowner’s personal equipment which had already been flown out. He then spent the week making sure the windows were gleaming at the hilltop property, which has its own cinema, sauna, jacuzzi, gym — and even a glass lift. Luke, who is staying tight-lipped about the owner of the holiday home, said: “I’ve never been asked to go somewhere as exciting as this. How do you see the market developing this year? The strongest quarterly house price growth in the first quarter of this year was seen in the outer commuter belt, up to an hour’s commute by train from the centre of London, but the recovery is now spreading into the broader south of England. We are seeing more buyers coming out of London and we expect this trend to continue as the ripple effect continues to take hold. What do you love or loathe about the job? Ask a designer Helen Winter of Coral Interiors Home Staging – the Secret to a Quick Sale and Top Price Maybe you’ve watched TV programs such as ‘Phil Spencer: Secret agent’, or the original ‘House Doctor’, Ann Maurice and wondered if a property marketing expert could help you sell your home. Home staging is about preparing a home for sale to appeal to the maximum number of buyers in the target market. You wouldn’t sell your car without cleaning it inside and out and fixing dents or knocks, or dealing with the suspect smoke coming from the engine. Your house is your biggest asset and if you don’t do a little work upfront you could be throwing away tens of thousands of pounds or wasting weeks or months on the market unnecessarily. Of course, there’s no point spending a fortune just to sell your house, nor should you need to. There are many ways you to make your home highly desirable using (or just removing) what you already have.

The golden rules of Home Staging: • Declutter – if you have full-to-bursting bookshelves, wardrobes, or collections of ornaments buyers will either not be able to see past your stuff, or think that the house is just too small. So have a big clearout and store out of season clothes, books you won’t be reading in the next few weeks and get as much as possible off kitchen worktops, bathroom shelves etc. • Maximise Kerb appeal – don’t put your buyers off before they set foot in the house. Pressure wash the drive, fix the leaky guttering and plant some seasonal flowers. Clean or even paint your front door and polish the hardware, it’s all about the first impression. • De-personalise – large family photos are unfortunately a bit off putting for most potential buyers. They want them to imagine themselves living there and it’s hard for them to do that with your wedding photos or family portraits. Replace them with neutral canvas prints, or mirrors just while you sell, you can put them all up in your new place. • Finish off those odd jobs – peeling paint, threadbare carpet, odd stains – very few homes are perfect, but when you come to sell you need to make your home look as well cared for as possible. Hire a handyman and get all those little jobs done. • Clean and freshen up – hire a professional cleaner to dazzle your buyers. Thoroughly clean and deodorise, especially if you have pets, and if possible make sure they’re out of the house for viewings. • Top tip – take your photos of the exterior and every room in the house, and review with an honest friend. Make a list of all the negative points and work through it - before you go on the market. It’s hard for us to see our homes with a neutral eye and a key benefit of hiring a professional is that they can evaluate your home through the eyes of your potential buyers and give practical, impartial advice to make the whole process a lot less daunting.

ASK THE EXPERT Tony Peters from Planit Mortgages Limited offers his advice on all your mortgage needs

IS IT REALLY WORTH GETTING INTO PROPERTY THESE DAYS? (PART 2) In my last column, I asked whether it was worth getting into property as an investment with all the rules and regulations surrounding tax, mortgages and landlords in general. I’m not going over it again so I hope you find a copy if you haven’t read it yet. This time I will ask whether it is worth or even possible to get onto the property ladder as a residential home owner. Now I can hear you all screaming at me: “Of course it is always worth it!” and not many could really argue with that statement. Unless you are taking on a debt you can’t afford to service, let alone pay back or you are buying a “money pit” which costs more money than its worth. Even then some people would say it was worth it. Imagine buying a property in London for example whilst the market is at full steam. You struggle to pay the mortgage and sell a year later for a profit of £200,000. You clear the arrears and still have enough to come down to this part of the world and buy a nice little place mortgage free. Very few would contemplate such an idea and despite the possible reward, the risk is too high. I wouldn’t recommend it, that’s for sure. Mortgage arrears for example can affect your ability to obtain another mortgage in the future and if your gamble didn’t pay off, you would most probably be left in a worse position. But enough of the pie in the sky ideas. We’re talking real life and mortgages here. What can people wanting to buy their first home or even want to move from their existing home to another have to do these days to get a mortgage? The main buzzword in lending circles is “affordability”. A word that has been driven into the lending community by the EU’s MMR (Mortgage Market Review) and MCD (Mortgage Credit Directive) and rigorously enforced by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and overseen by the Bank of England (BoE).Apologies for the acronym overload there, folks but that’s the finance industry for you. What that means is that the earnings you declare and all of your regular monthly expenses will be scrutinised down to the penny (I’m not messing either) and a figure given to you that you “can afford” to pay. Whatever happened to human resolve? You know, that mentality that says “I’ll do whatever it takes to pay my mortgage and stay in my home”. Apparently, there’s no room for that sentiment at the FCA so you are forced to accept whatever they are offering and you must be grateful for it. (Yeah, right!) Anyway, the average house price increase over the last 12 months according to the Nationwide index is 4.9% and with wages rising at 1.8% per year, the gap is still widening. So my advice is if you want a place of your own and you can afford it, go for it soon as you might not be able to afford it later. With Barclays announcing a 100% LTV mortgage (not quite as it seems though) and other lenders offering 90% and 95% deals, the residential market is still open for business and well worth joining if you can, despite the efforts of regulators and bureaucrats to prevent you from doing so. NAME AND SHAME! So, the new mayor of London Sadiq Khan wants to name and shame rogue landlords. I am not opposed to this, there are some really bad ones out there, especially the ‘beds in a shed’ type landlords who seem more prevalent in London than Poole or Bournemouth. But what about the tenants? Shouldn’t they be accountable to? In my 24 years of working within the industry I have seen a few and I have come across a lot of excuses. Only recently, a tenant didn’t pay her last month’s rent and then left the property still requiring a carpet clean and deep clean throughout. Why do they do that? They know their deposit will cover the rent, but why put more pressure on the landlord and incur extra unnecessary expenses by not leaving the property clean for them? When we tried to contact her we found out she had gone on holiday to Greece. (Clearly with the last month’s rent). I am proud to say my Move On girls Nicky and Christine, put on their marigolds and out of the kindness of their heart, cleaned the property on their way home to make sure the new tenant moving in didn’t start off with a dirty property and the landlord equally out of pocket. Way beyond the call of duty, but that is why Move On care. However, good news could be on its way. Experian, whom a lot of companies use for credit searching people, are looking at introducing a ‘credit ladder’ to encourage renters to show they pay their rent on time and give them a better credit rating. This is excellent news for tenants, especially when applying for mortgages. It is also excellent news for landlords as this will encourage tenants to pay their rent on time as they will not want a black mark on their credit rating. I will definitely be watching this, any deterrent to encourage a tenant to honour their rental obligations is a positive for me as well as rewarding the good tenants too. A win-win for both sides. To the tenant who is presently walking around with a sun tan thanks to using their landlord’s money, please can you notify the deposit scheme to release the funds. You know who you are! PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYERS SURPRISE LOCAL PUPILS AT TRIM TRAIL OPENING Reformed Plastics produce a wide range of Outdoor furniture, Decking, Fencing, Planters and Landscaping products so that you can enjoy the outdoors. One of their most recent project was to create a Trim Trail for the playground at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Christchurch. Pupils at St Joseph’s were delighted to welcome Premier League players Matt Ritchie and Adam Federici to their school during the recent Grand Opening of their new Trim Trail. The bunting was out as was the sun on a glorious afternoon’s celebrations started off by the Year 4 Class Samba group who played throughout. The AFC Bournemouth Right Winger Matt Ritchie and Goalkeeper Adam Federici surprised the excited pupils as they visited the school to cut the ribbon alongside Rachel Lambon and Adam Dean of Christchurch Tennis Facility and Frank Hunt and Emily Gard of Mudeford Phoenix Ladies FC. The new and improved Trim Trail has been funded by the tremendous efforts of the school’s PTA along with Sovereign Housing Association who joined in the celebrations. The new equipment was constructed by local Southbourne experienced family business Reformed Plastics (UK) Ltd, who worked closely with the school to design and build the new exercise equipment.

St Joseph’s Deputy Head Teacher Mrs Miccoli said: “The opening of the new Trim Trail provides the children with a greater range of activity outside of their class time and continues to make their play fun and competitive.” The Cherries players were thrilled with the tremendous reception they received from St Joseph’s School pupils who all cheered and waved their own creative red and black flags. Goalkeeper Adam Federici said: “It is awesome to have such support from local schoolchildren and we are delighted to be here in the community encouraging

them to keep fit with their new Trim Trail.” The Sports Ambassadors gave Adam and Matt a tour of the new equipment and were thrilled to see the players trying out a balance rope. The entire school joined in with the high-fives as they made their way back along the line of excited children and the players took their time ensuring everyone had a turn. The new Trim Trail is designed to challenge pupils with a variety of elements including a Clatter Bridge, Log Traverse, Dual Balance Bars, Tyre Step and Parallel Rope Walk. It replaces the previous worn-out wooden trail now extending 30ft beyond the previous footprint. Reformed Plastics Resource & Sales Manager David Mercer said: “This is our biggest Trim Trail to date and we were delighted to work closely with St Joseph’s to provide new equipment for the pupils to enjoy for many years to come.” Deputy Head Teacher Mrs Miccoli also commented: “It was a privilege to welcome Matt Ritchie and Adam Federici who are at the height of their career and will inspire our young children to take part in sport and to keep fit. We are also delighted to have Christchurch Tennis and Mudeford Phoenix Ladies FC with us today as they are deeply involved promoting sport in our school.” It was appreciated by all for the time the players took in talking to and engaging with the children - answering questions and posing for photographs. PTA Fundraiser Jen Leonard commented “AFC Bournemouth in the Community was exceptionally well represented by Matt and Adam today, they really have made an already exciting event very special indeed”.

Audi is making changes to its executive class A6 and A7 Sportback ranges. The include exterior styling refinements, interior upgrades and new equipment. UK ordering for the latest A6 and A7 Sportback models and their S and RS counterparts start in May and deliveries will commence in the summer. The basis for the newly updated A6 and A6 Avant ranges is a new SE Executive specification level, which replaces the entry level SE option available up to this point. It ushers in a new, bolder look courtesy of a new front apron incorporating more pronounced air inlets with gloss black horizontal struts, more sculpted side sills and a restyled rear bumper now housing a new diffuser at its lower edge. The sporting stance struck by the S line and top flight Black Edition models has also been subtly enhanced by a new radiator grille with a matt black surround and chrome slats flanked by striking side air inlets also fringed with chrome. Detail upgrades to the standard equipment lists have also been made across the A6, A7 Sportback, S6 and S7 Sportback and A6 allroad ranges, starting with the addition of LED interior lighting, front seat heating, electric lumbar adjustment and elegant Aluminium Ellipse inlays for A6 SE Executive models over and above the previous SE specification. New model starting prices: A6 Saloon from £32,995; Avant from £35,095; S6 from £57,215; RS 6 Avant from £79,505; A7 Sportback from £46,865; S7 Sportback from £64,380; RS 7 Sportback from £85,485.

ROAD TEST: SKODA SUPERB ESTATE With the growing popularity of MPVs, crossovers and offroaders in recent years, the traditional estate car has slipped out of the limelight, seen by some as rather mundane, even boring, writes NICK FLETCHER. But trends change and the estate car is now back into fashion, and among new models which are certainly not mundane is the Skoda Superb Estate. It has credentials that make it an ideal family car, is economical to run, and with its sleek handsome lines can even be a bit of a head-turner. And you can’t often say that about an estate car! Prices start at just over £20,000 and flagship versions are around £36,000, underlining this is no humdrum estate car range. My recent test model was the mid-range SEL Executive Greenline model costing £26,250 and powered by a terrific 1.6 litre 120 hp diesel engine with a combined fuel figure of 76.4 mpg. That’s an impressive figure for any car, let alone a large estate. It scores well for loadspace too – a substantial 660 litres with the rear seats in use and a whopping 1,950 litres when folded – more space than a Mercedes E Class! Built on the same platform as its Audi A4 and VW Passat stablemates, the Superb estate also offers an exceptional

amount of rear head and legroom, bordering on limousine size, so all in all it earns top marks for practicality. There are petrol and diesel engines, manual and DSG gearboxes and the option on top models of 4WD. Five trim levels are available – S, SE, SE Business, SE L, Executive and Laurin & Klement. Entry level versions are well equipped, including alloy wheels and a 5-inch touchscreen, and my midrange model included adaptive cruise control, larger 8-inch touch screen, sat-nav, Bluetooth, USB and SD slots, DAB radio, dual-zone climate control, powered driver’s seat, leather upholstery with heated front seats, rear parking sensors, engine stop-start, and a wealth of safety technology. Underway, the Superb lives up to its name – it is refined and quiet and even at motorway speeds you don’t have to raise your voice even for rear occupants to hear you. The steering is accurate and its weight can be adjusted to several different driving modes. The manual gearshift is the most precise I have encountered, and the ride quality is outstanding. My only disappointment with this sharply-styled wellproportioned premium-look estate is that despite its elegant exterior, the cabin looks rather ordinary!

GOLF GTI CLUBSPORT The VOlkswagen Golf GTi is 40 years old later this year and to mark the occasion, VW has introduced a special anniversary model, the Golf GTi Clubsport Edition 40. The model will cost from £30,875. Powering this addition to the GTI range is a 261 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged direct-injection engine - the most powerful Golf GTI yet. But that’s not the whole story. Accelerate hard in third gear or higher and, for up to 10 seconds, an additional ‘overboost’ function increases the engine power to 285 hp. In the new Clubsport Edition 40 this power is channelled entirely to the front wheels via either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed DSG. The DSG version of the car is also equipped with launch control as standard. Top speed is limited to 155 mph and the 0-60 mph time for both three and five door versions – either manual or DSG – is 6.3 seconds. CO2 emissions range between 158 g/km and 162 g/km depending on bodystyle and transmission choice, while combined fuel economy varies between 40.9 mpg and 40.4 mpg. As with all Golf GTIs, the new Clubsport Edition 40 is equipped with a sport chassis with 15 mm lower ride height as standard. Up front, MacPherson suspension provides precise tracking while the modular performance suspension does the same job at the rear.

Volkswagen exterior designers have created a completely new front bumper, new side sills, a rear diffuser that is also new, a new multi-part roof spoiler and exclusive forged alloy wheels. Inside, the new car features ergonomic sports seats with a tailor-made look featuring Alcantara and black cloth upholstery, a gear knob in golf ball design and a black headliner. Production of the new Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 40 is time limited, and it is anticipated that no more than 1,000 examples will be made available to UK buyers.

We wanted to know what all the fuss was about...

Burger me that’s tasty! Word had spread to House HQ, of an infamous bar & grill serving (and I quote) “the BEST burgers in town”. Naturally our curiosity couldn’t keep us apart, so off we went to see what all of the fuss was about. We arrived in trendy Southbourne, team in tow, ready and waiting to sample some divine meaty treats. Met by our friendly waiter and shown to our table, we were seated adjacent to the window, the sun beaming in, it seemed right to raise a toast to such splendid day; My toast of choice? - A crisp and refreshing, alcoholic (you would have done the same) ginger beer. The first sip; ‘Aaaaaaaah’. You can’t beat an ice-cold anything on a sunny day. Now, onto more important matters - the food. The menu is what you would expect from a grill / diner. A mixture of meats and deep fried delights, including roasted chicken, slow-cooked pork belly, racks of ribs, steak – the works, but their true crowing glory is their hand-crafted burgers. ‘Bacon and cheese for me please!’ The true test of a great burger joint isn’t their wackiest flavour combination, but rather their adaptation of a classic. Chances are, my idea of a ‘legendary burger’ might not be perfectly identical to the next person’s, but there are a few significant features; Locally sourced tender beef, crispy bacon, punchy cheese and the much debated brioche bun (I suspect I may have lost a few hearts over that final bun comment). Second to the great brioche versus sesame bun debate, is the pickle or no pickle deliberation, for me it would be a crime against fast food to leave a soldier behind – so long live the pickle! Quarters’ burger certainly didn’t disappoint on the aforementioned key points. All of their burger patties are homemade, thick, meaty and cooked medium just the way it should be. Now don’t try this at home with a bog standard supermarket burger, which so often gets mixed with other meats. Only 100% pure beef patties can be

cooked this way. Beautiful hints of pink emerging from the charred beefy jacket, a truly happy site for any food enthusiast. The bacon was that iconic American streaky bacon (the kind that doesn’t go limp at the first site of a hot pan) and the molten cheddar cheese just oozing over the meat, like lava trickling over the verge of a volcano. Not forgetting the rather endearing miniature pickle at the peak of the spear, holding this monstrous meaty mountain together. Second to the intense flavours of their burger, were the signature potato wedges. Bear in mind, these aren’t their usual paring; ordinarily all burgers are accompanied with house coleslaw and ‘Rustic Chips’, but I couldn’t fight the little demon on my shoulder encouraging me to stray. So often we blame our parents for our later adulthood and this scenario (strange as it might seem) was no exception. My father considers himself quite the connoisseur of luxury burgers at home and there is no doubt that my wedge shaped potato obsession most certainly derives from the many meals he used to cook for the family. These wedges were utterly sinful but so moreish. Twice cooked perhaps? Possessing that desired fluffy center along with a very naughty deep fried crispy coating. Well worth diverting from the

norm - may I suggest every meal come with this gorgeous addition?! The team also tucked into different dishes, including one ‘chefs platter’. Not as utterly breathtaking as the burgers I was told, but for a meat lover with a large appetite it’s a good way to go. Two enormous platters - one piled high with chicken wings, racks of ribs and meaty skewers. The second, an array of carbo-licious treats including garlic bread, onion rings, corn cob and more. Thank you for your hospitality Quarters, I dub thee’ king of burgers! We look forward to visiting again soon. Music For Macmillan Caring Locally Ringwood and Burley Band are set to collaborate with Bournemouth’s Sound of Soul Choir to perform a charity concert in tribute to much-loved daughter and mother of one, Natalie Killeen Taking place at the Barrington Theatre on the 21st May from 7.30pm, the special concert in tribute to Natalie, who tragically passed away at the age of 37 leaving behind a 3-year-old son, will raise funds for Dorset charity Macmillan Caring Locally. Natalie was cared for by the charity’s dedicated nurses at their specialist palliative care service, the Macmillan Unit, at Christchurch Hospital. In tribute to Natalie, Ringwood and Burley Band and Sound of Soul Choir will both play a wide repertoire of music from traditional brass band marches to modern hits such as Calvin Harris and Disciple’s ‘How Deep Is Your Love’. Past Musical Director of Ringwood and Burley Band, Steve Block, will also return for one night only to conduct a new piece of music specially composed for the night entitled ‘Memories of Natalie’. The evening has been organised by Natalie’s father and a member of Ringwood and Burley Band, Kevin Legg. ‘Music For Macmillan’ will take place on 21st May from 7.30pm at The Barrington Theatre, Ferndown. Healthy food needn’t be dull (or far away)… Aaah summer, the season of the famous ‘beach body’. We’re finally seeing signs of sunshine (we were all a little worried it would never show) and the time for slinky one-pieces and short shorts is almost upon us, but there’s a problem… Despite best efforts to eat well at home and visit that dreadful ‘gym’ place, lunchtime comes and it seems to be spoiling all of that hard work. All credit to those who’s idea of a rocking Sunday afternoon is being at home managing some major food preparation for a week’s worth of lunches (seriously, I don’t know how you guys do it), but for the mere mortals among us, that kind of forward thinking is just too much to cope with. So in desperate search for a healthy lunch in a rush, we turned to the experts at Lunch’d. Lunch’d developed their food based on one simple philosophy: healthy food doesn’t need to be boring. Two of the major reasons why people tend to fall of the wagon with healthy eating, are the lack of appealing options and secondly an absence of time to source or prepare a wholesome alternative. So how do you solve such a problem? Bring the healthy goods to the people.

Oli Perron (Founder and ‘Head of Broccoli’ at Lunch’d) began his career as a chef in London, working his way from kitchen porter to head chef in a rather short space of time – people quickly caught on to his foodie passion, but something else was calling out to him. He later went on to spend a season in the Alps, little in the way of cooking, but a whole lot of snowboarding was to be done. After cooking his way through the old smoke and the open air of the mountains, he longed for a life by the beach and where better to spend it, other

than tranquil Dorset. So Bournemouth bound he was, but not to remerge himself into hospitality just yet. Instead, digitalagency ‘Folk’. Longing to make his mark it hit him; could he take all that he had learned in his gastronomic past life and combine that with new age digital technology? And so Lunch’d was born: the UK’s first subscription site for healthy lunches, delivered. Beginning his cooking expedition in his friend’s kitchen, it wasn’t always easy – at times he’d be preparing hundreds of meals at once in this two by three meter space, but passion is what kept him going and now Oli and his team inhabit their very own commercial kitchen in Poole. Well I think we’ve deliberated enough for now, onto what you really came here to read; our food review… The Lunch’d food system is truly unique. The menu works on a fortnightly basis - a different meal a day Monday to Friday, for two weeks. After the two weeks are up, you go back to week one and so on and so forth. Which means you’ll only have the same meal twice in a month. You can pre-order anywhere from one to five days of the week, all through their online form – it’s dead simple. We joined the Lunch’d club on a Monday of week two. On the menu that day was a ‘Dorset Moroccan’ fare: Moroccan spiced chicken & squash casserole with hummus & flat bread with a cauliflower & flat leaf parsley tabbouleh salad. Usually in order for a meal to abide by the ‘healthy rules’, it often falls under one (or multiple) of the following adjectives: tasteless, dull or leafy – this dish was nothing of the sort. To think food this healthy could taste so good. In-fact this tiny brown box was all rather exciting; it was like unwrapping lots of little food surprises. The chicken was packing some serious flavour, though it was spiced it wasn’t tainted by an overbearing amount of chilli and the squash was a delicately sweet contrast to the boldness of

the chicken. You really can differentiate between homemade and store-bought, when it comes to the quality and flavour of food, and how wonderful to truly know where your food has come from and exactly who made it and that you’ll be eating it the very same day it’s been prepared. Overall I was thoroughly impressed by the service and the food provided by Lunch’d and their team. Many offices, in and around Bournemouth and Poole, are joining the club and getting their Lunch’d on. It’s the perfect solution if you are longing to find flavoursome healthy food, without wasting your very precious time – something so many of us have so little of these days. Talking of a reminder to come to classes, I have recently discovered that my laid back attitude towards my clients isn’t necessarily what they actually want. I have often left people

alone if I haven’t seen them for a week or so, thinking that everyone is entitled to a little break. I don’t send out group texts or emails, there is no weekly weigh in. I was quite happy with this, knowing that clients always came back eventually as they enjoy the workouts and believe it or not, we actually have fun too (most days)!

3. The discipline of getting up early and exercising before work is really empowering and results in you having more energy throughout the day.

But it came to light, after 1 client had been off for nearly 2 weeks, that some people need an extra little push. I said how good it was to see her and I hadn’t wanted to disturb her time off. She told me the first week she had been unable to come due to exams, but the second week she’d just been lazy. She went on to tell me that actually she would have liked a gentle reminder/push from me to get involved again. So from now on a gentle push here and there it is.

Participants will be skydiving 10,000 feet and will be attached to a professional skydiver from the airfield’s flight team, who have been recognised as one of the best skydiving teams in the country.
