13TH DECEMBER - 22ND FEBRUARY 2015 COOL COAST ICE RINK AT BOURNEMOUTH INTERNATIONAL CENTRE Ice skating is back at the BIC this winter! Their Cool Coast Ice Rink is the South Coast’s biggest indoor seasonal ice rink and is open from Saturday 13 December 2014 to Sunday 22 February 2015! A fun all-weather activity, it’s perfect for kids and adults alike! Plus, with their useful Ice Skating penguins, even the youngest novices can have a go in our Cool Kids area; separate from the main rink it’s ideal for smaller children and their parents. Tickets to skate are £7.50 including the skate hire with family tickets and group (10+) concessions also available. Standard sessions are 90 minutes (including getting skates on and off) from 4pm daily during term times and 11am in the holidays with an additional late session on Saturday evenings. The Kids Party Package is also back by popular demand and includes an ice skating session followed by a main course and never ending soft drink at Hot Rocks restaurant – perfect for birthdays and special occasions! 14TH – 18TH JANUARY FAULTY TOWERS: THE DINING EXPERIENCE THE TERRACE CAFE, LIGHTHOUSE, POOLE’S CENTRE FOR THE ARTS Having sold out venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House, the globe trotting phenomenon that is Faulty Towers The Dining Experience returns to Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts from 14 – 18 January. Waited upon by Basil, Sybil and Manuel, this is fully immersive, highly improvised and site-specific comedy theatre at its best. Only a third of the show scripted, so anything can happen as you take a seat in the ‘Fawlty Towers’ restaurant. Expect all the best gags, shambolic service and a ‘70s style 3-course meal in this ‘top end entertainment that’s not to be missed’ (What’s on London). Faulty Towers The Dining Experience was born in Brisbane in 1997 and made its international debut in 2008 at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it has sold out every year since. It opened a residency in London’s West End in October 2012 and continues there still. Eight teams of cast now tour the world non-stop.
