Digital contractor permits

Digital Access Permit for Contractors Ref: AAF/AR/2082/0621 17 June 2021 To all residents of Emaar communities, Dear Resident, As part of our endeavour towards digital transformation and making community living easy and accessible, we are pleased to inform you that your appointed contractors can now register and apply for community entry permits online.

The new platform offers a streamlined and easy process and is exclusively for contractors to get access and carry out works for residents in Emaar communities.

Please share the enclosed factsheet with contractors you regularly use for your home maintenance needs. Access permits are not required for home delivery services (courier, furniture, food etc). Following are the three types of permits issued to contractors.

• Short-term permits: Applicable for small-scale work completed within one or two days (for e.g. ad hoc maintenance works, AC servicing, plumbing, electrical works etc).

• Long-term permits: Applicable for maintenance jobs with long-term maintenance contracts (for e.g. garden maintenance, annual maintenance contract etc).

Important note: The contractor must enter the resident's email address while applying for a long-term permit. Upon submission, the resident will receive an email notification to log in to their community portal. Once logged in, residents can select the ‘Contractor Request’ option from the menu and accept the notification to complete verification.

• Access permits for home modification works: Applicable for works with a home modification approval from Emaar Community Management.

Digital permits will be issued to approved contractors with their details and a QR code, which will be scanned by security to allow access into communities.

From 01 July 2021, only contractors with a digital permit will be allowed entry. All revenue generated from the nominal annual registration fee will be credited to the respective community as income.
