ISOTEST act Long-Life Testing Electrode The testing elec trode is mad e of equal sized sheets of conductive rubber mounted on an aluminium profile. The construction provid es improved flex ibility and reliability compared to conventional electrodes using bristles or mad e from a single sheet of rubber. The electrode can float some 10 millimetres in forward direction against a supporting stainless steel spring steel sheet. Scope of Delivery: - Testing electrode including a high voltage connector.

Reliable Testing of Thin Coatings With the ISOTEST act DC in-line holiday detector thin coatings lik e FBE, Rilsan etc. can be tested in a safe and reliable way. Precise adjustment and control of the testing voltage guarantees testin g according to relevant regulations and customer specifications. Due to its flex ibility, the ISOTEST act DC adapts easily to a wide variety of testing methods: Helical testin g for rotating pipes using a flat electrod e, whereas circumferential testing is the proven method of choice for non-rotating pipes. The intelligent microproce ssor control system guarantees the highest degree of measuring certainty and fault tolerance. The testing voltage is adjustable from 0.5 kV – 6.0 kV and is constantly monitored by the electronic controller.

Matching the specific length of the tested pipe, they have to be mounted in front an d behind the testing system. Testing of Coatings with Pulsed Voltage from 5 to 30 kV A wide variety of coatings / coverings like 3layer-PE/PP can be tested rationally an d reliably to detect pores and pinholes. Precise ad justment of the electronically controlled testing voltage (adjustable from 5.0 kV – 30.0 kV in 2. 5 kV steps) guarantees testing according to relevant regulations and customer specifica tions. The pulsed testing voltage allows capacit ive grounding. This makes it possible – as opposed to the DC mo de – to test completely coated pipes. No direct contact to the metallic part of the pipe is necessary. The intelligent microprocessor control system guarantees the hi ghest d egree of measuring certainty and fault tolerance.
