COMPANY PROFILE 1995

ISE International was established in 1997 and is the representative of quality products in the Instrumentation, Industrial and Safety sectors of the market. ISE International carries a full range of engineering components, from fluid power components, to fire hose products that save our forests and communities; to valves, fittings and tubings that can accommodate extreme pressures. From the beginning we have enjoyed exponential growth and are constantly expanding our customer base and the range of products and services we offer.

2000

With the success of ISE International (Singapore), ISE International (Thailand) was developed in 1999 to serve the Thailand and Indo-China markets while ISE International (Singapore) concentrates on expanding its business in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and the Middle East.

With the encouragement from many of our principals and customers, ISE International (Singapore) set up a representative office in Mumbai, India in 2003 to explore the market in the Indian subcontinent. Not long after, ISE International (India) evolved to become a full-fledged branch office to serve these markets.

As part of our continuous improvement program, ISE International was accredited with the ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2004. We have since upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 and we are also looking to attain the ISO 14001:2004 certification as a promise to doing our part for the environment.

2005

In order to cater to the growing market in China, a sales representative office was set up in Shanghai, China in 2008 with the vision to develop into a full-fledged branch office in the near future.

In 2011, ISE International received Autoclave Engineers’ certification to hydro-test Autoclave Engineers products, the first and only such facility available outside of the USA. ISE International provides the testing facility for all Autoclave Engineers products to cater for its customer base, decreasing the turnaround time and lowering costs to customers. ISE International’s testing facilities will test all Autoclave Engineers products up to 60,000 psi and our service centre caters for repairs and certification authorized by Autoclave Engineers.

2010

ISE International will be authorised by Parker to crimp, test and sell Parker Polyflex hose up to 43,000 psi along with Autoclave Engineers high pressure pump skids and Snap-tite high pressure couplings. ISE International also celebrated its success in opening a sales office in Busan, South Korea in 2012. As part of its expansion plans, ISE International intends to set up offices in Vietnam, the Middle East and Europe.

ISE International is a distributor of instrumentation, industrial and safety products. ISE International recognizes the value of customer satisfaction in a competitive world and our major contribution is made by the provision of distribution and marketing services at an assured level of quality. To achieve this objective, the Management at ISE International has committed itself to a quality assurance system based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Every employee is accountable for the quality of our services which are delivered every day to valued customers. Adherence to company procedures and processes will ensure that our quality goals are met and any problem that arises should be resolved in a manner which prevents recurrence. OUR GREEN POLICY

Energy is essential in every aspect of our life; for global economic progress and to raise and maintain the world’s standards of living. What drives the global energy demand today is the want for better economic growth and better quality in life of developing countries. Although demand for energy increases, some of the earth’s sources of energy are limited and this has brought to our interest an investment in other future energy supply. PROMOTING CNG AS AN ALTERNATIVE SOURCE OF ENERGY Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a substitute for gasoline (petrol), diesel or propane fuel. It is known to be an environmentally “cleaner” alternative and it is safer than other fuels in the event of a spill as natural gas is lighter than air, allowing it to disperse quickly if leaked or spilled. In response to high fuel prices and environmental concerns, compressed natural gas is starting to be used in vehicles such as pickup trucks, medium-duty delivery trucks and in buses. A suitable designed natural gas engine may have a higher output compared with a petrol engine because the octane number of natural gas is higher than that of petrol. CNG may be refuelled from low-pressure (or slow fill) or high-pressure (fast fill) systems. The difference would lie in the refuelling time versus the cost of the station.

While both CNG and LNG (liquefied natural gas) are stored in the form of natural gas, the main difference is that CNG is in the compressed form, which does not require an expensive cooling process and cryogenic tanks; hence a lower cost of production and storage compared to LNG. ISE International (Thailand) currently promotes CNG as an alternative source of fuel to the different transportation in Thailand. MINIMISING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT A carbon footprint is a “measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of CO2”. ISE International strives to conduct business throughout the world in a manner that protects the environment, and that corresponds and suits the environmental and economic needs of the communities in which we operate. We are committed to improving our effect on the environment through practical solutions with the goal of bringing episodes of environmental impact to zero. 11
