HUMAN POWERED VEHICLES PROJECT Elliot HENKEL
The future is surely to be one without the current amount of fossil fueled transport. It is necessary to look into all forms of power, including that of human power. The bicycle has functioned as a fundamental means of transport to many cultures all around the world for hundreds of years. Australia is a perfect candidate for such a project. It’s large ammount of emmissions per capita renders it the 14th largest polluter worldwide, while being number 51 population wise. The application of human powered transport could reduce the ammount of emmissions by over tenpercent if implemented properly.
