This portfolio consists of 4 projects during my course of study in the University of Georgia’s Furnishings and Interiors program. These projects are a mixture of individual and group efforts with my classmates, where we envisioned and executed our understanding of the assignments. This porfolio is the end result of the extensive, yet dedicated days and nights work in the studio. The completion of these projects would not be possible without the assistance and critque of my professors and classmates.

INTUITIVE DESIGN FOR INNOVATIVE THINKING
NKBA 2019 DESIGN COMPETITION
The intent of this design is inspired by a combination of the homeowners’ interests in modern design and earthy elements. The palette of natural stones, woods, and neutral colors complement each other to create an organic, inviting space. Smart-home technological appliances and fixtures are incorporated to satisfy the client’s wishes for high-tech, efficiency. Full spectrum bulbs are used for the islands under the counter lighting to foster the growth of fresh herbs and plants.
Additionally, gadgets such as the touchless sink faucet and the media center refrigerator can be found in this space. The concrete backsplash and wood grain cabinets feature earthy textures giving an outdoor ambience. Ample shelving and cabinet space as well as abundant counter space adds to this functional kitchen. Frameless cabinetry and minimal accessories achieves a modern style by use of simple lines and a clean environment. The beauty in simplicty is a main focus of this design. Wireless under cabinet lighting is reminiscent of the sun peeking through a dark forest. The goal of this design is to fulfill the client’s wishes by creating a natural, earthy environment paired with cutting edge technology in the heart of suburban San Francisco.

The double door refrigerator and cabinet space allows storage for snacks and meals throughout the day. The quick and easy use of the Keurig allows for a coffee break at any time of day. This design suggests a comfortable and welcoming environment as opposed to the stressful hustle and bustle outside of this space.

BOUTIQUE HOTEL RESTERAUNT
The intentions of this design is to create a rustic ambiance in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. This ski lodge restaurant located steps away from Aspen’s pretentious slopes invites individuals of all sorts to enjoy a casual meal in between runs. The wood panel walls, stone accents, lantern sconces, steel table tops, and dark walnut accents combine to give the restaurant a very organic and rugged feel. The large windows invites nature into the space. The modern barstools and dining chairs keep the environment in touch with present day design. Overall, this environment is designed to be enjoyed by all hotel guests and visitors.
The following drawings and renderings for this project were executed using Autodesk Revit.
