When people think of exams, they think of what they would've had high school. This isn't an accurate way of looking at it. This exam is going to be very application oriented, which means the questions are going to be about what you would do in a particular situation. It is how they learn whether you can do the job. The second step is studying in this manner. You're going to read about a lot of theory, laws, rules and regulations, but none of these will tell you what to do in a particular situation. When you're studying you have to focus on situations and how you would handle them with what you learned. The last step in passing the police exam is remaining calm while taking it. Each section of the exam will be on a timer. This can cause a lot of stress for most people it is important to remain calm. There is enough time for you to answer all the questions so don't rush.
