Potatoes can also be used to reduce the puffiness under your eyes. Start by slicing a potato in small pieces. Cool these slices in your refrigerator. When they are cooled, take two slices, find a place

where you can comfortably recline and place these on your eyes. Leave them on your eyes for about 15 to 30 minutes. For treating the dark circles around your eye bags, grate the potato either manually or by using a food processor. Make a compress by putting the mash potato in a clean cheesecloth or gauze. Place this compress over your eyes for about 15 to 25 minutes. Potatoes contain an enzyme called catecholase. This is an ingredient found in most cosmetic products to lighten skin.
