Belle Costume

Designer / Draper / Stitcher - Elizabeth Walker Inspired by Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” (1991)

Thin straps were removed from the original yellow dress. Off the shoulder sleeves were addied and the straps modified to hold up the sleeves. Rosettes and tulle bows were added. A seperate gown was fashioned into an extra petticoat. Wig was purchased and styled.

Cinderella Costume Designer / Draper / Stitcher - Elizabeth Walker Inspired by Disney’s “Cinderella” (1950)

The original dress was dyed light blue. Sleeves were fashioned out of cotton fabric, stuffed, and attached to the dress. False Panniers were made from the cotton and stitched to the waist. Tulle bows and pearl beads were attached to the gathers in the dress.
