Study – 15.3’x17.5’ To the left of the foyer bayed windows with arched transoms are a mirror image of the formal dining room. West Wing Rooms of the west wing include the kitchen, breakfast and family rooms, powder room, pantry, and mud room/garage entrance. Two bedrooms with private baths and large storage closet are accessed by way of a private hallway in this wing of the home. Kitchen – 25’x22’ Great room style kitchen is every chef’s dream space. Designed by the owner and Barker Kitchen and Bath in Greensboro the room features large L-shaped multiple height island with both seating and work surfaces. Cherry cabinetry is furniture grade with raised panel doors, overhead glass front doors with lighting, appliance garage, plate racks, two pull-out spice racks, knife drawer with pull out cutting board, two deep pot drawers, one lid storage, custom drawer dividers for utensils, double trash can storage, lift-up mixer storage, and two oversized cookie sheet/large item storage areas. All lower cabinets have heavy duty wooden roll out features. Granite countertops with double waterfall edge feature, tile backsplash, pendant lighting over island, and under cabinet lights are included in this well planned kitchen. East Wing The east wing of the home includes expansive owner’s suite, sitting room, dressing/closet room, shoe closet, exercise room and laundry/sewing rooms. Transoms which top the doors in this wing were commissioned by a local artist. Owner’s Suite – 15.5’x18.8 A Napoleon four sided see-through direct vent fireplace, a distinct feature of this spacious owner’s suite, separates the sleeping area and sitting room.
