Oh wait, go back
Criteria: Sandy. Quick Fix/All Day. Yes, a waterfall. On a beach.
...comes with its very own waterfall!
Tresaith is beautiful, and so is the drive there. The beach looks like the ones in the Algarve, and with a good imagination the water is almost as warm. I recommend you check out the tides before coming here, because if it’s in, the rocks my good friend Matt up there is standing on, are gone. This one’s brilliant if you like looking into holes and at shells and things. It’s also great to climb about. Best bring some lunch though, because there is only one shop in Tresaith; the Beach shop. This beach is well worth a trip, you can spend hours reading a book while leaning on the warm rocks or playing in the stream (I won’t tell anyone you still like building dams).
Here’s a panorama of the beach when the tide is in.
The drive to Tresaith is lovely, and from Lampeter it only takes a little over half an hour. Perfect for a quick beach fix.
