Lanscape gardening The first image is a photograph of John Gutteridge’s ‘Fire Pit’ garden at the Hampton Court Flower show, he mixes the use of natural and man made materials, it has a modern and elegant look; his concept behind this garden was to use man made materials that were recycled and re-used to raise the issue of being environmentally friendly and encouraging other garden designers and public that you can still have a great looking garden along side environmentally friendly materials.

These other examples are also from the Hampton Court Flower show, the designers all show a balance between control within the design, man made materials as well as control through growth of the plants. The way in which the plants can be cut and formed into different shapes is something I’ve become quite interested in through this topic and would like to put my own twist on this concept through digital editing.
