The practice of a successful political party giving public office to their supporters. It all started with Andrew Jackson’s “loyalty” to his friends. (What is he a dog or something?) In short- he spoiled his friends by kicking out the old party members and placing his friends in office. (Favoritism to the max)

The development of the industry world. Industrialization is close to modernization, urbanization and other words with ization at the end. Without Industrialization we wouldn’t have pretty much anything we have today and I wouldn’t be making this presentation. 

counterbalancing influences by which an organization or system is regulated, typically those ensuring that political power is not concentrated in the hands of individuals or groups. No branch of government can be bigger than the other. President has the final power of yes or no when passing a bill.

Freedom of speech, religion, and to have a peaceful meeting Congress can't stop people from having and carrying weapons, even though they’re trying. You don't have to let soldiers live in your house like we did back then. Unless someone that lives with you is a soldier. Then that doesn’t really apply.

Nobody can search or your house or your papers and stuff unless they can prove to a judge that they have a good reason to think you have committed a crime.

You can't be tried for any serious crime without a Grand Jury meeting first to decide whether there's enough evidence for a trial and if the Jury thinks you’re guilty you cannot be tried for it again. DOUBLE JEAPORDY

If you're arrested, you have a right to have your trial and the government can't keep you in jail without trying you. The trial has to be public, so everyone knows what is happening. The case has to be decided by a jury of ordinary people from your area. You have the right to know what you are accused of, to see and hear the people who are witnesses against you to have the government help you get witnesses on your side and you have the right to a lawyer to help you. You also have the right to a jury when it is a civil case

Your bail must be reasonable and no unusual punishments Just because these rights are listed in the Constitution doesn't mean that you don't have other rights too. Anything that the Constitution doesn't say that Congress can do should be left up to the state or to the people.
