FIRM INTRODUCTION Elevar Design Group, established in 1967, (formerly SFA Architects, PDT Architects and Roth Partnership) is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH with satellite offices in Dayton, OH, Cleveland, OH, and Lexington, KY. Our roots are planted in the Tri-State region, but our projects reach around the country. Elevar Design Group serves in both the public and private sectors, with a deep rooted understanding of how to work with all types of clients. We offer an array of services designed around our customers’ expectations and business demands. From strategic planning and community engagement services to professional planning, programming, architecture, engineering and interior design services, to project management, construction administration, and institutional and operational research, Elevar leads the way from inception to completion. Elevar Design Group is an EDGE certified firm with the State of Ohio and is the largest minority-owned professional design firm operating in the City of Cincinnati. Elevar is also involved in the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Minority Business Partnership which is an economic development initiative that focuses on leveraging minority assets to strengthen the economy. Our firm was founded on the premise that each client deserves a high degree of personal service, and each project the search to find the “right” design solution, both artistically, and technically. As an Architect and an Engineer, our patron, Emilio Fernandez, exemplified the modern Master-Architect philosophy of eminent responsibility for the “whole” solution, and for the life of the building. These beliefs permeate our culture and translate into our work. Throughout our history, Elevar has responded promptly and efficiently to client needs with quality services and innovative, practical design solutions. Our continuing success has been achieved through our personal commitment and professional abilities. Our firm grew from humble beginnings into what is now a staff of more than 80 employees. This growth occurred organically as SFA continued to design in new markets and acquire new clients. The combination of experienced, long-associated members working with knowledgeable younger members offering fresh, innovative ideas and approaches have lent to a continued focus on relevancy in the design world. No matter the type of client, we know that one thing is constant: our clients want a greater value for the investments they make in their facilities. Elevar delivers just that. We create beautiful spaces that take user experience to a higher level. We continuously strive for the best solutions: timeless design that is responsive to change with optimal performance for cost. We believe there is a design for every need, but we avoid the predictable, cookie-cutter response and instead differentiate our product to always elevate our client’s game.

ELEVATE THE WAY YOU SHOP A well-designed space encourages consumers to make purchases. Retail spaces should reflect the character of the intended buyer. Our design team works with clients to identify their design vision and develops an atmosphere that celebrates both the brand and the consumer. Through choice of colors, textures, focal elements and lighting, we aid our clients in the realization of their personalized market image which drives consumer behavior.

Kroger Fishers, IN

This expansion/remodel project is located in a rapidly growing community north of Indianapolis. The design of this expansion includes Click List and a drive-thru Pharmacy. The site of the expansion was located adjacent to the existing, smaller store. Opened in spring of 2017, this store satisfies the demand for increased commerce in the area.

Kroger Carmel, IN

Our team worked with Kroger to design the expansion for this prosperous location in the Greater Indianapolis area. The end result offers the upscale look, atmosphere, and list of services the grocery chain is known for. Opening in June of 2015, this expansion project included extensive zoning requirements.

Joseph Toyota Cincinnati, OH

The project consisted of a 40,000 square feet addition to the existing Toyota of Cincinnati Dealership on Colerain Avenue, based on the Toyota Image USA II Design Documents. The expansion includes a new car showroom, sales offices, a satellite customer lounge and retail and accessories center. The addition also includes mezzanine and general office spaces that overlook the new car showroom.

Joseph Porche Kings Auto Cincinnati, OH

Originally a Lexus showroom, the building shell underwent a complete exterior and interior renovation. The new clean and modern structure is a simple design that communicates the prestigious Porsche message to its customers. The exterior provides a dramatic visual through the use of curved metal fascia panels contrasting against the glass keyhole. From the client approach at reception to the sales and customer service areas, the interior design provides a seamless customer experience. Designed to excite the customer and compel purchases, the interiors also reflect Porsche brand values. The Smart Center of Cincinnati is located directly adjacent to the Porsche showroom, sharing service facilities. The black entry portal provides a backdrop for signage as expansive storefront windows provide views into the showroom.

Newport Pavillion Newport, KY

Our team provided architectural and MEP services for retail stores in this upscale, outdoor shopping plaza located less than a mile from downtown Cincinnati. Constructed in 2009, the site of this shopping plaza was difficult. Large hills and nearly 100 residential properties needed to be purchased and leveled. Totaling more than 300,000 SF on 56 acres, this shopping plaza includes large anchor stores and national retailers.

Tire Discounters Various Locations Throughout the US

Our team designed over 50 new construction stores for Tire Discounters, the largest provider of tires in the country. Brand identity and improved customer experience was at the forefront of each project. Show rooms and waiting areas were expanded, service counters were replaced with kiosks, and interactive technology was integrated. Waiting areas were equipped with TVs for entertainment and surveillance on the customer’s vehicles being serviced.
