In November, we often take time to show gratitude and reflect on those things for which we are thankful. Celebration is in order when we consider the freedoms we enjoy as we honor our veterans. The Thanksgiving holiday provides an opportunity for us to show how grateful we are for our families, friends and communities. And here at WIN Energy REMC, we want you to know that we are thankful for you, our members. As a member, you are an owner of this cooperative, and the very reason we exist. We work hard every day to provide you with safe, reliable electric service. But we don’t stop there — we are committed to providing exceptional member service and to serving our local communities.

Electric Service: At times it may seem easy to take electricity for granted, but we are working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to make sure we meet your electricity needs. Providing reliable electric service is a priority for us and at the heart of our mission. That’s why we have an aggressive construction work plan and right-ofway maintenance plan. It’s all about providing you with electric service you can count on!

Member Service: While “keeping the lights on” is a priority, we also understand the importance of providing high quality member service. When you call our

office, you don’t get an automated phone system; our member services representatives answer the phones live. Or, you can come visit us at one of our three local office locations. We are here to assist you. Offering programs and services that will benefit you is also high on our list. We want to know how we can serve you better and are always open to your feedback. It’s all about providing exceptional member service!

Community Service: In addition to serving our members, we also have a strong commitment to serve our local communities. We give back to our communities through youth programs such as scholarships, Youth Tour and Touchstone Energy Camp. Each year, our employees commit to a Community Day project to assist a local organization. This year, we worked with local backpack programs to pack food for children in need. And, we support our local county 4-H fairs, provide safety demonstrations to community groups, and help local non-profit organizations through the Operation Round Up program — just to name a few. It’s all about giving back through community service! So this month, as you reflect on the things for which you are thankful, know that we are thankful to serve you. We are here to provide you with reliable electric service, exceptional member service, and to give back by serving our communities.
