WINE ENTHUSIAST - 2015 GOLDEN SEMILLON The editors at Wine Enthusiast have recently rated and reviewed our 2015 Golden Semillon and gave it 92 POINTS Coming from a magazine that has grown to become the world’s largest periodical for wine and spirits this makes us feel pretty good! P RO UD SUPPORTE RS OF VARI ETY S A We are very proud to be a long-time supporter of the Variety SA Vintage Luncheon, raising money for the great work that Variety do, and this year was no exception. On Friday 18th November the sold out event was held at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide. A successful event, with a lot of money raised for an amazing charity, including 25 dozen Elderton Shiraz raising almost $14,000.

WI N E OF THE M O NTH 2015 Golden Semillon 2015 Golden Semillon From a 1985 & 1999 planting of Semillon the vines were cordon cut and the fruit allowed to desiccate for three weeks on the vine. After hand picking it was crushed and held on skins for three days to help extract the flavour from the desiccated berries before pressing. Fermentation was long and slow due to the difficult conditions faced by the yeast. The fermentation was stopped and the wine filtered. The wine was then bottled and matured for release            - Richard Langford Style Dessert, medium bodied Colour Luminescent straw Aroma Dried pear, apricots and figs Flavour Dried pear and apricot marmalade with balancing acid finish WINNER OF THE ‘BEST SWEET WINE’ AT THE 2016 BAROSSA WINE SHOW
