New sports centre with 200 seats and room for 1000 visitors to host other events. The entrance is south-east orientated while the sport field is looking at the north-west. The two transparent spaces are at different heights but both are in the same level with their surrounding landscape. This allows the athletes and visitors to orientate themselves easily through the building during their stay.

Bachelor Thesis 2014 Stuttgart, Germany

La Laguna Youth hostel

Isolla della Certosa, Venice, Italy.

Where? The Certosa is one of the 83 islands spread along the Venice Lagoon. Due to its abandonment for the last 50 years, today offers a great landscape potential. Why? From the masterplan Parco della Certosa, a parcel was chosen. Hereby 7 old small buildings with identical geometry will be refurbished to work as temporal accomodation for students.

How? The city of Venice with its canals and Campielli (small squares), the colours of Burano and the whole Lagoon with its Ship manufacture history bring the main elements for the inspiration: Theese are integrated through a global concept of Interior-exterior. The result, 4 dormitories which are arranged in two levels of privacy: from the most divided interior in dormitory 1 to the maximun collectivity and transparency of dorm. 2. The exterior areas will be re-activated with meeting points equipped with seating and shading.

To promote the use of the exterior and connect the bungalows, wooden slightly elevated paths have been developed all around and along the modules. A symetrical arrangement for the whole squeme enables to be used at the same time by 2 different groups of visitors. The program: 4 Dormitories designed with two levels of privacy. 2 Modules for collective use 1 Module with showers and toliets and 2 washmachines

The adaptation of the urbanism along the canals and the simetry of the interior in the traditional ships offer the inspiration for the organisation of the plan views.
