Hello everyone! December is such a fun, busy and magical month. The month began with the El Zaribah Circus always a crowd pleaser to which Noble Jack Garrett, PP, Recorder of the Temple spends many long hours making the Circus a success. The L.O.S. Clowns have so much fun painting the children’s faces and blowing balloons until they have put a smile on the face of the last child attending. Great job, Ladies. Many of the L.O.S. Ladies also do various other jobs at the Circus as well. Thank you! We also have many Holiday parties within our Units. Be sure and make your reservations to come and experience fun, fellowship and a feel-good time. Laughter is always guaranteed. Our Stated meeting is the 3rd Monday (Dec 17th) in time to wish each other holiday cheer, good health and a lot of caring. We’ll wear Holiday attire. Don’t forget to make your dinner reservation. The food will be wonderful, the Director Staff Ladies are cooking another yummy meal. Ladies, my wish for you, your families and friends is a fantastic Holiday Season full of love, good health and positive thoughts. We need each other even more at this time of year, so please reach out with the kindness I know you have within yourselves. Time is so precious for all of us … let’s not waste it. Much Love to All! Job’s Daughters... Hello again! Here’s what Job’s Daughters has been up to: The annual Miss AZ Job’s Daughter pageant was held Sept. 8th. Although it determines the next Miss AZ Job’s Daughter, it also is one of the most fun experiences AZ Job’s Daughters has to offer. We had 8 Daughters compete for Junior Miss AZ Job’s Daughter and 3 compete for Miss AZ Job’s Daughter. Every participating Daughter enjoyed themselves! Our pageant took place at El Zaribah Shrine and we extend a heartfelt thank you to El Zaribah Shrine for your support of our organization. As Miss AZ Job’s Daughter, I have decided to dedicate the year to growing friendships and the ties we all share with each other. I’ve been visiting many Bethel’s and a few other Masonic events. A week after pageant I attended the High Twelve Youth Luncheon, where they presented all three of the Masonic Youth Organizations with a check. We’re always so grateful to receive the support of our Masonic families, and it’s important to us to maintain a relationship with our Masonic families. October was a busy month for us, full of initiations and fund-raisers. The Bethel’s have all been working very hard, selling tickets to breakfasts and dinners, and working on charitable fund-raisers. My Bethel and I just did a charity event with Ben’s Bells. We helped them paint beads for their bells and presented them with a check. Bethel 22 had a wonderful breakfast fund-raiser, where they 18 Arabian Tales / December 2012
served us a lovely breakfast with a smile. The girls are also very excited for our state fun events coming up, like our hike for HIKE in March and our trip to Disneyland in May! We still have a lot planned for this year, and we’d love to see more of you all very soon! Jobie Love, Leia Garn, Miss AZ Jobs Daughter 2012-2013, Job’s Daughters International
