Hundred Equals One

The project was to create a spacial unit using one object over 100 times. The object that chose to use was the plastic insulated staple. Each staple is connected to at least one other staple, with the exception of the outer most ring . The shape of the overall unit was derived from having each staple connect.

University Pavilion

The assignment was as a small group (3 or 4 people) to analyze an assigned building on campus. We had to take measurements and explore qualities of the building. With the measurements we took we had to draft proportioned section cuts, elevations, axon, and the floor plan with a reversed ceiling plan.

Professional Work

A new construction baseball field with press box with seating for approximately 90 people and new dugout. It was modeled in Revit entirely by me.

Professional Work

This project was a large Veterans Hospital in Butler Pennsylvania, in which I worked on almost every interior room, either creating interior elevations, adding furniture, moving walls and detailing casework. 

 









Library Analysis

The project was to measure and draw detailed technical drawings of an assigned library near campus. It was a small group project (3-4) person group. The layout of our pages was to emphasize the grandness of the entry way and the sections are cut through the cross of the roof. Everything comes off of the dome

Spacial Unit

The assignment was for us as a section to pick from another sections’ projects and select one we would what to iterate. The end goal was to create a unit that when repeated 30-40 times would be able to interlock with each other and be able to define a space. Working with twenty people was the real challenge for this project.

Figure Mapping

This project was assigned to explore the spacial of a path in The University of Cincinnati. The first layer consisted of a sequel of images that became the path for our next layer. The second layer was the way a person could interact with space. The third layer was the spacial qualities of our chosen space.

Literary Center

As our first project in building design we were given a site just off campus and told to design a literary center that would be used by the local community. It began with the library analysis earlier in my portfolio in which we went to a library to observe their operations and how we could design a library that could accommodate all their wishes. We had to create floorplans, elevations, sections, an interior perspective, and a model.
