Edison High School’s Second Annual FTK 2017

Edison High School students took part in raising money for For The Kids, a charity that gives back to children in need. Rutgers University hosted a dance in honor of the money raised for the children in need. FTK is an annual EHS event that allows students to give back to the community and have fun. The night consisted of dancing, games, and food. With everyone’s tremendous efforts, we raised over

$4000!

NJASC Winter Convention The NJASC winter convention was full of lots of learning. Many schools presented their important programs, as EHS presented our FTK dance charity event. EHS came in the top 10 amongst all of the schools. In all, everyone learned better leadership qualities, school spirit ideas, and teamwork skills.

Holidays/School Spirit EHS’s successful holiday spirit was in full effect during hallway decorating. Seniors won with their Disney inspired theme. The sophomores came close in second place with their gingerbread themed decorations. The juniors were third with the around the world theme. Upcoming Events •Dodgeball For Charity: Friday February 24th -Forms are in the front of the student council office - $5 a player and all dodgeball team registration forms are due by Wednesday, Feb. 22nd.

•March 13-24th A food drive will be held to aide MCFOODS and will be a battle of the class competition. Be sure to check out the bins placed in the lobby to help one of many great causes we’re helping.

•Finally we Student Council has committed itself to raising money for Hugs for Brady, a charity that helps children with cancer.
