Founded in 1961, our family-owned company has built a reputation for trend-forward designs and decorative surfaces, coupled with excellent quality and sustainable processes. To better serve you, we’ve opened a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina, producing particleboard and thermally fused laminate (TFL). The Lexington site is also home to the first EGGER Design Center in the U.S., and showcases the inaugural EGGER Decorative Collection for North America.

We are proud to offer our first collection, developed exclusively for North America, with the wants, needs and design sensibilities of this market in mind. This collection features 80 decors, available with a perfect decor match across our TFL, laminates and edge banding product range. Our collection also includes 16 PerfectSense decors, as well as seven Laminates with Colored Core, more than 200 edge banding variants, plus a paintable/gluable TFL and edge banding product.

Whether for cabinet fronts, shelving, closets or wall claddings, thermally fused laminate (TFL) offers the ideal product solution for your furniture and interior design projects. Our TFL is produced by fusing resin-impregnated paper directly onto both sides of our Eurospan Particleboard. TFL boards reproduce the authentic look and feel of real wood, and can be easily cut, edged and processed, saving time in finishing. They provide the ideal solution for horizontal and vertical surfaces in mediumto high-traffic areas, or for curved or rounded elements. In the fall of 2020, EGGER employees proudly watched the first particleboard roll off the continuous press at our newest plant in Lexington, N.C., just two years after construction began on the 240-acre, state-of-the-art facility. EGGER’s first manufacturing facility in North America, EGGER Wood Products, is in the first of three phases of development. When complete, the project will represent a $700 million investment in the North American market and create approximately 770 jobs.
Phase I construction included a particleboard production line, lamination lines, warehouse and logistics facilities, apprenticeship training center, corporate offices and the EGGER Design Center. Additional Phase II and III investments are slated to begin in 2025 and 2030.
