THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL

A New Line of O’Kane Today FM duo, Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore bring their brand new, hilarious comedy show, Dermot & Dave Live to UCH for two nights in May and June packed with stand-up comedy, hilarious characters and a whole load of rocking musical performances. All of the lads’ favourite characters will make a return including internet sensation, Noni, Limerick’s infamous chocolate seller and Tony “Club Classic” Cascarino.

Ben Portsmouth is a multi-talented musician, singer and songwriter that looks like Elvis, sings like Elvis and has an on-stage charisma that has audiences believing at times they are watching the King himself! In August 2012, Ben made history when he won the Elvis Presley Enterprises “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” Contest which took place in Memphis, the first artist from outside the USA to ever win this prestigious title.

2018 was a hugely busy year for Deirdre - she starred in Dancing with the Stars, voiced the hugely successful Gogglebox for TV3, produced Ireland’s largest ever charity comedy show for Comic Relief, hosted the revamped IFTA Film & Drama Awards, and starred alongside Debi Mazar and Hillary Duff in Darren Starr’s hit sitcom Younger (TV Land, US). DANCE ACADEMY ALICE

Fairport Convention has been making great music for over fifty years. Credited with originating British folk-rock music, the band has been through many changes, but the current members retain a passion for live performance. The concert will feature an opening performance by wonderful Irish singer/songwriter sibling duo The 4 of Us (they include their guitars!)

Paul Young is back on tour, performing his much loved album No Parlez in celebration of 35 years since it’s release. This was Paul’s debut album which produced his first UK number 1 single – The Marvin Gaye cover of Wherever I Lay My Hat - and hits Come Back & Stay and Love of The Common People. Paul Young went on to have further top 10 hits such as Everytime You Go Away and Everything Must Change. He is also a Brit Award winner for Best Male vocalist, sings the opening lines on the original Band Aid Single Feed The World and performed at Live Aid in 1984.

The Dance Academy presents this colourful and mischievous version of the classic story. Depicted wholly in dance, students from five years and up perform their own esoteric tale featuring Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Doormouse, the March Hare, Caterpillar, The Queen as well as hedgehogs, lobsters, mushrooms and a whole lot more!
