What was the first toy Santa ever made?

A Christmas wish for our friends & neighbors…

I think the first toy Santa made is a train that was blue and green and red. It can walk and talk and wears glasses. It’s called Funny Train. It will tell you the answer to a math problem and it’s shaped like a dog. — Emma Pierson, 8, Sand Hill Elementary A bell. The bell was silver and magical, and when you rang it, it would bring joy to everybody who heard the bell. — Parker Idolt, 8, Sand Hill Elementary The first toy Santa ever made was a toy called Sew Cool. Sew Cool is this safe sewing machine for kids because they have plastic over the part that sews, and it is super fun because you can make anything you want. — Loki Thompson, 8, Springfield Elementary I think Santa made a toy train for the good boys and girls and for Jesus. — Cody Farr, 8, Springfield Elementary A Super Mario Maker game. —Jordan Sikes, 8, Springfield Elementary The first toy Santa ever made was a time machine. A time machine is just a box of technology — it doesn’t really travel in time, it just makes kids think it does. — Trey Davis, 8, Springfield Elementary It was a wooden toy car. It was made entirely with wood and some glue. He did a good job and in the past I bet a lot of people enjoyed it. — Jackson Robert White, 9, Springfield Elementary An iColor, because if you loved to color you could color with markers and erase and it would light up. — Addision Francis, 8, Springfield Elementary A horse rocking chair. It was homemade out of wood. It had little details on the saddle. — Sophia Smith, 9, Blandford Elementary

A teddy bear, because the first elf was like a son to Santa so he made it for him. — Evan Cohn, 9, Blandford Elementary The first toy was a football because that was the first toy everybody wanted. Well, some kids. — William Floyd, 9, Springfield Elementary A bow and arrow, ‘cause I got one when I was 8 and I still have it. — Jordan Ruland, 9, Marlow Elementary

An Elf on the Shelf, because they are Santa’s helpers and they keep watch of us. — Conner Billieter, 9, Blandford Elementary A big LEGO set. I think it is the Indominus Rex set. — Eli Cerhoney, Blandford Elementary

I think it is a two-story treehouse, with a person in it. — Alexandria Strong, 8, Marlow Elementary

A teddy bear after Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt asked Santa for a teddy bear so he could sleep with it. — Mary Magallanes, 9, Blandford Elementary

A bike. A bracelet. A neckless. An Easy Bake Oven. A four-wheeler. A radio. The news. — Brooke Cheyenne Jones, 9, Marlow Elementary

A toy robot. It was a fun toy and everyone loves a robot, so every Christmas someone asked for a robot. — Cole, 9, Springfield Elementary

A trash truck out of wood. — Jack Smiley, 9, Blandford Elementary

An iPod with a selfie stick. —Megan Coleman, 8, Springfield Elementary

We hope your holiday is beautiful in every way; filled with friendship, love and the people you treasure.
