The kitchen and seating areas have been specifically designed for individuals and companies in various food industries for the preparation and demonstration of food products. The training rooms can be hired in conjunction with the kitchen or separately. All areas offer a clean, modern design which creates a professional atmosphere for all uses.

The Market Kitchen is situated in the Fresh Centre in the heart of the Brisbane Markets. Hiring the Market Kitchen will include unique views to the trading floor as the latest in seasonal produce comes in from Australian growers. You can purchase fruit and vegetables at wholesale prices on Thursdays and Fridays between 10.00am – 11.30am.

Terms & Conditions: • All prices exclude GST and cleaning costs; • Boardroom / Meeting rooms are available Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 3:00pm; • The Market Kitchen & Training Rooms are available for hire 24/7 subject to availability and booking approval; • Tea and Coffee is included in the rate for Meeting Room 1 & Boardroom bookings only; • Payment will need to be received at least 7 days prior to use of the room. Non-payment will see your booking forfeited; • For Kitchen Hire a once off payment, of $150 +GST registration fee is required for all non-market tenants. The registration fee is non-refundable; • A security deposit of $150 +GST, is required upon initial booking for Meeting, Training Rooms and/or the Kitchen for all non-market tenants; • The security deposit will be refunded on completion of the booking provided the facilities are returned to the original state; • A copy of your valid Public Liability Insurance and Food Business Licence will need to be received for

all Market Kitchen bookings; • All electrical equipment used in the Market Kitchen or adjoining Training Rooms must be Test and Tagged (and valid); • All equipment available for use in the Market Kitchen, Training and Meeting rooms is the property of BML. Any items removed or damaged may result in forfeit of the security deposit; • All catering requirements are the responsibility of the hirer; • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the key to the Kitchen and/or training rooms is returned to Site Services/Front Gate after completed booking. • Failure to return the key will result your security deposit being forfeited; • All persons proposing to hire the Market Kitchen or a Training Room must agree to the Market Kitchen & Training Room Terms and Conditions prior to the commencement of hire which is available at • For more information please contact the booking coordinator on (07) 3915 4200 or email
