PERFORMANCES FOR SCHOOLS
Effectus Theatre brings entertaining and educational productions about social issues affecting children and young people to schools across the UK. Previous performance subjects include internet safety, anti-bullying, County Lines crime and risk-taking in association with drugs.

Our unique combination of foot-tapping music, animation, and storytelling brings our performances to life in a way that engages students, leaving them with a lasting impression.
We actively encourage audience participation throughout our performances, giving students a chance to reflect and ask questions about what they've seen.
Our workshops are the perfect way to build confidence and explore creativity, as they are led by industry professionals who have DBS, first aid certificates and have undergone additional training in inclusive practice and the social model of disability.

Our intensive projects and Play In A Week projects are a great opportunity for you to work closely with one of our highly trained director/facilitators for 5 full days. During this time, you'll create a performance that is devised by students, whether it's introducing a subject or exploring a theme.
Don’t be a stranger…
Please let us know if you have any questions or if you're ready to sign up for one of these projects. We're here to help and support you throughout the entire process.
Our classes provide a great opportunity to have fun and learn at the same time, while also exploring new ideas and activities. With our classes, we make sure everyone feels included and valued while they take part.
Our projects are designed to provide high challenge and high support, which will help you build resilience, confidence, and a sense of achievement.
“One of the staff members coming to greet us and escort us upstairs... The introduction talk in sign language. Very inclusive… absolutely above and beyond and just made a huge difference to our experience.”
