With features like 20.2 effective megapixel, 11 Point AF points, build-in GPS and Wi-Fi capability, full HD 1080p video capture, it is the one the you really should seriously consider as your full frame camera. Detailed Review Exposure Due to the excellent high ISO performance, Canon 6D offers great exposure especially in low light or indoor conditions, along with very fast focus even in those situation. Image Quality From my personal experience, Canon 6D produces an excellent JPEG picture quality as Canon has the best JPEG engine. The need for RAW files can be reduced greatly. Build in Wifi Canon 6D has build-in wifi connectivity for easy photo sharing and remote camera control from any iPhone or Android smart phones. Photos and videos can be uploaded to YouTube, FaceBook, external storage device or the cloud. With Canon's EOS Remote apps for iPhone and Android, your smart phone can adjust the camera's shooting settings and focus, trigger the shutter and view images, all remotely and wireless. Photos and video can be downloaded to your smart phone right after they are taken. This is a big plus for the professionals on the road.
GPS This feature allows you to do geo-tagging, i.e., it will record the location where photos and videos are taken. With a GPS logger and Map Utility software, folks who love travel can actually log their travel path automatically. This is a really nice to have feature. Weight The body itself weighs only 3 pounds, making world's lightest DSLR to feature a full-frame CMOS sensor, according to Canon. Nikon D600 weighs about 7 pounds. This make it much easier for people like me who loves to travel with family and children. Sports mode Canon 6D's 4.5 fps on continuous shot falls a little short compared with Nikon D600's 5.5 fps. So if you are serious about shot in sports mode, you might want to consider Nikon D600. Better Kit Lens than Nikon D600 If you buy Canon 6D with the Canon 24-105L lens (sold separately retails for $ 1,149), it is actually a better deal than Nikon D600 with 24-85 mm lens. Although Canon 6D with the kit lens is $200 more expansive than Nikon 600D, you get 20 mm more in lens reach and the lens is of Canon luxury line of lens for excellent optical quality and weather sealing.
