This month at Edu-Care... ...we’ve been particularly busy working in the education and corporate sectors.

Education We have been helping local schools to remove old unwanted furniture to make way for new items. It’s been great to be asked back again by schools we have worked with, testimony to the great partnerships we are developing. We have been involved in another phase of a south coast school clearance. The team, led by Warehouse Supervisor Mike Taylor, worked closely with the school. Mike says, “We value all of our customers and liaise closely with them to ensure that we deliver the best service possible. In this case, we were able to make changes at short notice to the clearance dates to better accommodate the school’s plans.”

Corporate We’ve also completed the first phase of a clearance from a large international company. Two days’ work was all it took for our skilled team to work together and complete the job. The company were pleased with our fast and efficient approach and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Donations As you know, Edu-Care work in three areas: Clearance, Retail and Community. As part of the ‘Community’ aspect of our business, we seek to donate items to community and voluntary groups. Recently, we donated a filing cabinet to The Rainbow Centre in Fareham. The centre works to inspire and support children with Cerebal Palsy and adults with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families. Ann, the Office Manager says, “I was thrilled with the donation, it was fabulous! The product was of excellent quality, service was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. It was a very kind donation to help the local community. We look forward to working with you in the future.”
