EDSA Partners Articles about recent EDSA activities were published in the November issue of the ASDA News - printed publication of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) and the Newsletter of the European Pharmaceutical Students' Association (EPSA). EDSA is continuing collaboration with ASDA and EDSA Vice President will attend ASDA's 41st Annual Session in Anaheim in March 2011. Communication with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) resulted in extending invitations to attend each others meetings and exchanging information and logos on websites. Recently EDSA has been strengthening relations with the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), EDSA's potential partner on the Research Program. EDSA Generaly Secretary will attend the 45th meeting of the Continental European Division of IADR in August 2011 in Budapest. Over the past three months EDSA was in contact with the Council of European Dentists (CED) and European Council of the Liberal Professions (CEPLIS). CED, a non-profit association representing over 320,000 dentists across Europe, registered as an interest representative with the European Commission, agreed to collaborate with EDSA. Therefore, one EDSA representative will attend CED's General Meeting in Budapest in May 2011.
EDSA mission and activities will be presented in the form of ePresentation during the 1st Virtual World Congress of Dental Students, taking place online between the 9th and 11th of May 2011.
