STORIES The Key Pedagogical Notes

General Notes · The stories all mobilize and develop the three competencies.

· The stories are richly illustrated. The illustrations help students understand the story and provide ideas for discussion. · There are both online questions and activities integrated into the stories. · Difficult words are defined directly in the text. · There is also a set of handouts for each story. The handouts include a puzzle. · Some teachers may prefer to read the entire story with the class before doing the activities. For those who prefer to integrate the activities from the outset, the story has been divided into four parts. The choice is yours!
