Edinburgh Gang Show is a much-loved institution, part of Edinburgh life and a must-see event at the King’s Theatre. Always bright, exciting, colourful and up-to-date with the latest music and comedy, Gang Show has certainly made its mark over half a century in Scotland’s capital. But what exactly is it that makes this annual jamboree of entertainment so special? Is it the cast of over 200 young people all singing their hearts out while dancing in perfect unison? Is it the ever-changing incredible scenery, enhanced by stunning contemporary lighting design? Is it over 1,000 tailor-made costumes that are worn every performance by the cast? Is it the talented Gang Show Band playing the specially orchestrated music? Or is it just that magical King’s Theatre atmosphere? Well, it’s all of this and more. Words cannot fully explain the everlasting appeal of Gang Show, so why not make a promise to come to see the Edinburgh Gang Show 2011? You don’t have to be involved in Scouting and Girlguiding to be part of the experience.
There’s no show like the Gang Show!
