three heart balancing ™ for your dogs by Jaentra Green Gardener What unique beings dogs are to us! We owe all animals a debt of gratitude for enriching our lives and offering us opportunities to be more loving, more gracious, and more creative as humans. Dogs, in particular, are a mirror; they, like us, are needy. Often, how we respond to our dogs’ needs mirrors how we take care of ourselves. Because dogs are completely dependent on us to fill their needs, they will do anything to please us. We experience this as unconditional love. That love extends so far that when dogs are sick, they often manifest their owners’ issues, both physical and emotional. Dogs love healing and respond so well to the energy. Typically, Three Heart Balancing™ puts dogs into a state of deep relaxation where they can completely open

to healing. We believe it reduces pain because of the apparent peace that seems to fill animals as they absorb healing. Animals take in the energy without rejecting it, because they don’t have human issues like self-consciousness, self-esteem issues, unworthiness or doubt getting in the way. If the connection between the dog and the healer feels right, they simply receive. However, because animals often become sick in order to take care of those they love, the loved ones aren’t always the best healers for their own pets. We believe dogs are sentient beings with a soul. Communicating verbally with them often clears up thorny issues and expands their awareness. Dogs are evolving just as we are. A dog can truly be a partner in its own healing. A husky named Shiva had an inoperable brain tumor. His owner took him twice a week to healing coaches for Three Heart Balancing. Within a month the dog was healed! Generally people will have a discussion with one of our healing coaches before making a decision about whether to use the paid services of a trained coach, enlist the distant healing services of the Healing

When canine cancer strikes by Maria Lisa Polegatto And there it was one day right out of the blue. It’s hard, it’s round, it’s on my furry child. It’s…it’s…it’s…a lump!!! Alert, Alert!!! Oh my goodness, as I sit next to her and stare at it. No, it couldn’t be. I feel it again to double check and triple check. I do a dog-once-over again and again, all over. Yes, it’s still there. It wasn’t there yesterday, we check you every day. Our morning ritual to get you ready for your day. Ok, she’s had lumps before and they went away as I try to convince myself it’s not what I think it is. It couldn’t be. This one’s different though. Although it’s small, it’s on her breast. I know she knows I’m concerned as she turns and looks at me. So I lean in close and snuggle her nose, a kiss can do wonders for us both. “Good girl, we’ll get through this together. I’m right here with you. Stay with me, I’ve got you.” And off I go researching with her by my side, reading, reading, and reading some more through journals, articles, internet, books and more while also listening for sure. The world is but a click away today. “We’ll find what we need; it will come to us.” With that I find it has a name, canine mammary cancer, and off I go now again to find out more. My Mom had breast cancer 22

so I know how horrible a disease it can be. She did mountains of research that she shares with me evermore. As she stands behind now in spirit, I search and find answers in my prayers. Interestingly enough, I find things popping up around me that I learn more about as the universe puts them out for us to find. What they eat

First things first. This much I know. One must heal through what they eat. I’ve done this before. A trip to the kitchen and out goes any not healthy enough dog food, grains and any chemicals that could be near. No, no, no, we need to read, research and read some more. This is high alert time! We simply need nature’s best. Dishes are always

washed after every meal so no contaminants are ingested in her food. Water is the finest…a country source, that heals with every slurp. Out comes the juicer where it will stay for precious healing foods, “We’ll eat healthy together my love.” Bring on the carrots, spinach, kale, celery and broccoli. No chance of choking on them when they are reduced to precious nutrient rich juice. An opening of the refrigerator reveals God’s natural spirulina. A gem found deep, deep within the sea. And don’t forget chlorella. “No one better to share these with than you, my furry love.” We must secure the stomach so there are no leaks. For the stomach has an important job of serving up all the organs, tissues and cells in your body. Probiotics will help with the flow so end digestion is soft, but firm, and not left behind to allow the body any toxic flow. Glucosamine and other favorites will boost your system and also help with your arthritis. Some fruit, like apples and squash we can share, as well. Yes, they have natural sugars so we will take them slow and later we’ll do some culturing to send that sugar out. Now, let’s get the protein and fat increased, but by only healthy ones. Omega 3, I know. But grains my dear, they simply must go. We won’t be feeding that lump with any carbs or sugars and organic whenever we can. Basil and oregano will spice it up and boost your immune system up a   see Cancer on p. 23
