We aim to unlock the potential of everyone

Newsletter 28 Monday 19th May 2014 Dear Parent/Carer Uniform Now that the warmer weather has arrived I would like to remind you of the school uniform: Royal blue sweatshirt with school logo White polo shirt Grey/black skirt Grey/black trousers of a tailored plain type with no extremes of fashion or decoration. Grey/black plain shorts may be worn (plain grey or black) or a tailored design with no extremes of fashion. Blue & white check dresses or skirts Children’s shoes should be suitable for school wear. The colour should be plain black. Training shoes should only be worn for games sessions - they are not considered suitable for normal school use. Girls must not wear shoes which have high heels, these are a health hazard which could cause them to trip or fall. Sandals may also be worn but should not be of the open toe type because of health and safety issues. A fleece can be bought to match the school sweatshirt but it is intended to be used as an outer layer not as a substitute for a sweatshirt. Lost Property Once again we find a huge amount of items of clothing, shoes etc. have accumulated in the school lost property cupboard. Everything will be displayed after school in the school hall (or in the playground if the weather permits) on Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd May , giving you the chance to retrieve any lost property. Anything that is not claimed will be recycled and any good quality uniform will be offered for sale at a later date to raise funds for equipment for the children. Dressing up day Don’t forget Friday (23rd) is ‘Favourite film character’ dressing-up day. Please make sure your outfits are from age appropriate films and are from movies NOT TV shows - there will be prizes for the best outfits!

Panini World Cup trading cards club We are now within a month of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and the excitement is mounting!
