THE BRAS FOR HOPE COALITION

is a non-profit organization that was founded by JJ LaCourt in 2007 to support breast cancer awareness in honor of her sister Eppi who lost her battle against cancer.Inspired by Eppi’s legacy of helping people, Ms. LaCourt’s goal is to continue giving to people in need. In particular to those women, who are breast cancer survivors, and have no insurance or are underinsured, by providing them with 100% high quality post mastectomy bras and prosthetics. Bras For Hope alleviates one more worry in the minds of cancer survivors and helps them re-claim their identity and heal by focusing on looking and feeling good.


OUR PHILOSOPHY THE BRAS FOR HOPE COALITION philosophy is to provide high quality garments and prosthetics for the emotional healing of women, giving them that new found awareness of personal custom design. The lingerie will look no different than mainstream lingerie. Once they wear one of these beautiful, durable and washable garments, survivors will experience the “Feel Good, Look Good” mentality. This is an integral part of our total cancer treatment approach, with our initial important step for emotional support, as a cornerstone for self healing. The Bras for Hope coalition offers actual support, comfort and beauty in all ways possible.


OUR EMBASSADOR EPPI and her doll symbol is now the Ambassador for Hope in the fight against Breast Cancer. Her symbol is the continuing care, and love that cures the mental scares along with renewed feminine pride with our gorgeous bras and cure of the physical scares of Breast Cancer.

FUNDRAISING RAFFLE AND PROCEEDS In the spirit of providing free quality under garments and prosthetics to women who are victims of breast cancer, Bras for Hope Coalition is initiating a fundraising goal of $200k dollars to “Empower women and renew self pride”. We are seeking a car dealer(s) to partner with the Bras for Hope Coalition and give away a late model vehicle as part of a$10 per ticket raffle drawing. All proceeds of this raffle will be used to give Breast Cancer victims renewed hope in the USA and Latin America by giving these women free Post Mastectomy Bras and Prosthetics Bras.

THE CAR WILL BE RAFFLED OFF IN JULY/AUGUST, 2013 AT A WALK FOR LIFE EVENT IN WICKER PARK.

FIESTA BACK OF THE YARDS Fiesta Back of the Yards is an important community event that highlights the diversity and culture of the Back of the Yards Neighborhood. This is a family event and features live entertainment, an array of food vendors, arts/crafts vendors and cultural performances. Over 150,000 people attend this Festival. THE OCTOBER 2013 PINK BALL GALA The Bras for Hope Coalition will host a Pink Ball to honor those esteemed parties who have dedicated their lives to a worthy cause and made an impact on society or in the lives of others. It is our mission to help raise Breast Cancer Awareness within the Hispanic Community and all communities, but most importantly provide Free elegant undergarments to those underinsured survivors! We celebrate the First PINK BALL Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Westin O’Hare Hotel.


B4HTV.ORG TV ON LINE B4HTV.ORG was created in 2012 by the Bras for Hope Coalition to become a leading online television channel that promotes and features educational information provided by the Mayo Clinic and the CDC and positive news promoting locally, nationally, and internationally Non-Profits regarding Health, Videos and Resources for Healthier living. At B4H TV we will inform the public and motivate all non-profits to support each other and to team up together for our causes. B4HTV.org believes that all non-profits should have the ability to tell their story and share it with those who care about their cause. By providing non-profits with a visual and audio platform, they can be more successful regardless of their resources. Our sponsors’ logos will be visible on our sponsor’s page and each sponsors will be provided with the opportunity to be featured in an online video. Additionally, SurvivorsConnect.com is a tool that can be combined with other current social media to network and inform others about their health developments in a respectful way. SurvivorsConnect.com believes that cancer survivors should have the ability to express their story and share it with those who care about them; by providing cancer survivors with this platform we hope to create a network of people who can inspire others to focus on healing and feeling good.
