PROJECT 11 PORT EXPANSION DREDGING KICKOFF - GALVESTON
Chad Burke had the opportunity to be part of the deredging kickoff event. This project is one of the top 4 that the Economic Alliance and the DC team has been advocating for during our DC trips. The process is coming along smoothing. This kickoff is proof that the work we are doing is having a positive impact on growth in the Gulf Coast region. BOARD MEETING
Economic Alliance held our second board meeting of the year at San Jacinto College - LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, & Technology. Our special guests were Mayes Middleton, State Representative of Texas, and Jesse Thompson, Senior Business Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch 2022 PORT REGION SUPPLY CHAIN FORUM
We heard from Port Houston, an importer of goods, and from the trucking industry. Some valuable information was also shared regarding the computer chip shortage, something many of us weren't even aware of. Thank you, speakers, for giving us your valuable time, great information was delivered!
