Weebale! Mr. Wrenn would like to say “Thank You” (Weebale) for the clothing and other items donated to the Ugandan children. His suitcase is going to be “full of love” for some very appreciative kids. If you have anything else you wish to send, please make sure it is here at the school by Friday, April 8th so he can have time to pack. We are sure Mr. Wrenn will be taking lots of pictures of some smiling faces while he is there. Look for some in future Thursday Notes after he returns.

Headmaster Headline Anyone who knows the Old Testament would agree that King Solomon was wise, giving sage advice on how we should treat one another. He warned that unkind behavior and words would only lead to trouble, but kindness would have its reward. “A kind person is doing himself a favor. But a cruel person brings trouble upon himself.” (Proverbs 11:17) In the scriptures, “kind” is often translated as “useful”. As we interact with each other, are we being “useful” to those who are in our lives. “Love is patient, love is kind…” (I Cor. 13:4a) Father wants us to be loving and kind in all circumstances and towards all people. It is so easy for us to utter an unkind word in a moment, causing hurt to someone and damage to our testimony. The next time you are tempted in this area, think of Solomon and ask yourself, “How can I show kindness and love in this moment?” Then do as Father shows you. He will bless you for your obedience!
