With a career spanning more than 30 years, Courtney has worked on a wide range of building types including residential single, multi-family, mixed-use retail/ office, hospitality, infrastructure, K-12 schools, and higher education. His professional passion is the design and technical finesse of nature-inspired, high performance, low-energy buildings. In addition to leading project teams which require high levels of integrated design, he has in depth design and technical skills to navigate complex entitlement and construction documentation requirements. In keeping with many of his recent roles as a senior project architect, he has extensive expertise in code analysis, specification preparation, and exterior building envelope design.
