Robust Infrastructure Classrooms

Internationally styled step-based classrooms, centrally air-conditioned, EBS campus is designed to deliver the very best-in-class education. The classrooms are equipped with Video Conferencing and ET, Management Games, Live Case presentations and shared courseware through web portals and interactive blogs that enhance the uniqueness of the institute’s teaching methodologies.

Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) The distinctive EBS teaching methodology can be seen across each of its systems and processes. One such distinguishing system is the professionally driven CRC that provides a dynamic exponential growth environment through extensive and exhaustive exposure to the industry.

Information Technology and Communication Centre (ITCC) The Information Technology & Communication Centre is ergonomically designed with nearly 150 PCs that are equipped with internet access, matched and supported by a host of printers, scanners, etc.

Communication Lab Effective communication skills are essential for expressing ideas, opinions, views and emotions for a business leader. EBS houses “Sanako Study 1200 Lab”, which helps in improving the students’ soft skills and attitude through a versatile learning experience. Training in communication skills and personality development programmes are the key components of the Communication Lab’s portfolio.

Seminar Hall EBS lays the greatest importance on dissemination of information amongst all students and key stakeholders. To realize the objective of exchange of views on frequent and sustainable basis, EBS has its own seminar hall with a seating capacity of 150. This seminar hall is fully-equipped with all the necessary audio-visual equipment, including multimedia projector, and latest sound system . It is used for various activities, including presentations, events, seminars, training workshops, etc.


Conference Hall A state-of-the-art conference hall with 3 LCDs is a major facilitator of the EBS teaching system, which is focused on the interactive module of learning. The conference hall at EBS is regularly used for meetings, conferences, discussions and interviews in a typical corporate environment.

Management Development Programme Centre Designed and created to arrange regular Management Development Programmes (MDPs), the MDP Centre is a vital part of the EBS campus. Participants at the MDP find in this Centre the ideal environment to hone their intrinsic management skills in a calm and serene academic ambience that is highly conducive to reflection and learning. Enabled by round-the-clock facilities that are available on the fully Wi-Fi campus, MDPs help promote management development in a highly tech-savvy environment.

Cafeteria The cafeteria at EBS is more than a place to eat out. The aesthetically designed cafeteria provides all-day multi-cuisine meal and has a seating capacity of over 100.

Accommodation The accommodation at EBS consists of fully furnished air-conditioned rooms with power back-up and 24-hour security. The institute provides separate accommodation for boys and girls, which is just across the institute. The rooms are available on twin sharing basis.


Medical Room EBS has in-house health care facilities with weekly visit and doctor on call, besides the schedules.

Recreation Zone Recreational facilities at EBS are among the very best. Armed with the mission to promote holistic development of students, the institute follows a high faculty student ratio of 1:10, with focused attention on promoting Andragogy-type methodologies with thrust on one-to-one interaction. EBS follows global teaching practices embedded in practical training methodologies, which are rooted in the multi-faceted business systems of the ERA Group. This is a key nurturing force to help sharpen the skills of students in line with the constantly changing and perpetually evolving domestic and global market environments. The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at EBS arranges regular visits by CEOs and industry experts as guest lecturers. The interactive sessions ensuing from these visits help make education more relevant to the evolving business world. They further help prepare students to meet the challenges of the ever-changing business world. The CRC constantly communicates with the industry to bring quality summer training and final placements to the campus. These interactive methodologies are a key driver of the EBS growth strategy. The Management Development Programme (MDP) is another important concept to promote the corporate interface at EBS. Global Perspective EBS has partnered with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore (ranked amongst Top 50 World University Rankings) for the Global Immersion Programme (GIP). This international immersion programme exposes the students to work practices in an environment different from those at home to further cross country understanding. It also helps them understand the macro-economic underpinnings, strengths and weaknesses of the host country from a governance and policy perspective. This module, which is an important component of the programme, is expected to prepare the students to take on challenging public management and policy assignments in the new globalized world. 18

PGDM Programme Post Graduate Diploma in Management Our Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme builds on our strengths in research, consulting and pedagogy in the areas of Marketing, Finance, HR, General Managment and Construction Project Management. These programmes promote great participative approach to learning and necessitate rational commitment and collaboration at both personal and professional fronts. Through an action research approach, students are encouraged to ruminate and explore ideas through hands-on action-based experiments. We follow a transformative way of education in which students challenge and learn within a dynamic and tech-savvy environment. Throughout the next 24 months, students are challenged and encouraged to achieve greater results right from the beginning commencing with a ‘Bridge Programme’. Post this programme, a student’s mental and physical fitness is put to strenuous test with a three-day outbound training programme, usually conducted in the foothills of the Himalayas. The course curriculum at EBS is a tempting blend of in-depth subject knowledge and practical experience gained through a continuous process of industry academic interface. The students are given home assignments designed in such a way that they are required to apply their learning and reasoning ability to arrive at the solution. So, every attempt is made to utilize the practical knowledge of a student and the same is considered while evaluating a student’s performance through test, assignments, viva, observations, interaction, etc. Special focus is placed on ensuring students develop a well-rounded personality. Thus various personality and communication development programmes are provided to students on a regular basis to supplement their hard skills with soft ones. Students are trained to develop case studies and write research papers, articles, etc. which help them to not only develop practical knowledge and analytical ability but also enhance their skill level. These two years of the PGDM Programme will be a transformative experience for the students as they will not only learn from the traditional classroom teachings but also gain experience from our strong corporate interface within a tech-savvy and beyond-academic environment. 23

Admission Procedure Eligibility Minimum of 3 years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/University Grant Commission with minimum 50% aggregate or 45% aggregate (reserved category) as eligible for Post Graduate Studies in Management. Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible, provided they complete all formalities of their examinations before October 30, 2013. Such candidates on selection will be given provisional admission subject to successful completion of their Bachelor’s Degree Examination, and submission of required documents in the admissions office. Non-fulfillment of the above condition results in cancellation of admission.

Procedure For admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme at The ERA Business School, the admission procedure consists of four steps as follows: Step I: Appear in the CAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT/XAT or any other examination approved by the AICTE. Step II: Register with EBS through a separate application form amounting Rs. 200, which is available through the following modes: 1. EBS Campus: HAF-1, Sector 9, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077 on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on payment. 2. Online: Download the form from the EBS website and post it to the ‘ChairpersonAdmissions’ along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 200 in favour of ‘ERA Business School’ payable at New Delhi to the above mentioned address.

Final selection is made by PGDM Selection Committee on the basis of Test score, performance in the GD/WAT/PI, Academic Performance, Work Experience etc. The list of selected candidates will appear on EBS website and are also intimated through e-mail. Note: No regret mails are sent to unselected applicants. Step IV: The admission will be considered final only after the payment of the stated fee along with the security deposit (as mentioned in the admission offer letter). List of documents is as under:

• A Photocopy of CAT/CMAT/ GMAT/MAT/XAT score card • A Photocopy of Graduation Examination marksheet (1st & 2nd year transcripts for 3 year degree holders and 1st, 2nd & 3rd year transcripts for 4 year degree holders, in case applying for Final Examinations)

• A Photocopy of Class 12th Certificate

Bright Scholar Fee Waiver

Scholarships upto Rs. 50,000 is awarded to students, based on their entrance examination results.

Entrance Examination CAT/ XAT (Percentile)

Rolling Scholarship Scheme To encourage students perform better, EBS offers rolling scholarships worth Rs. 50,000 to the top 5% students of the class. The Rolling Scholarships is awarded on Trimester Grade Point Average as Tuition Fee waiver for the ensuing Trimester, subject to minimum 3.0 TGPA and 80% attendance. The scholarship shall be adjusted against their fee installment as below:
