Meet with Success is a joint enterprise between the Past Students’ Association and Star’s Careers Centre. A panel of exceptional women - all graduates of the College who have agreed to be student mentors – connect with an audience of Year 10 and Year 11 students and their families.

The 2016 keynote speaker was Global Entrepreneur, Lauren Rielly (1996), who spoke about the exciting world of innovation and entrepreneurship. Lauren gave valuable insights into what is possible for students leaving Star to achieve. During the panel discussion that followed, students heard about the career and life journeys of the following past students: Jessica Anderson (2006) Engineer Lisa Dwyer (1986) Director, Business & Corporate Development, HSV Dr Anna Hurlimann (1996) Senior Lecturer in Urban Planning, Water Management & Climate Adaptation, University of Melbourne Siobhan Rehill (1989) Senior Project Manager - Dennis Family Corporation Marnie Tewskbury (1995) Co-founder of CareChoice Aged Care and CareChoice Training (former Businesswoman of the Year) Brianna Twomey (2006) Doctor at St Vincent's and Mercy Hospitals Andrea Cincotta (1989) and Jessica Quist (2005) were unable to attend but sent valuable information to be shared.

The evening was professionally compered by two current students: Tori Hughes (Communications Captain) and Natalie Scordel (Debating Captain).
