Masterplan consultation responses The responses from the masterplan consultation held in June 2010 are now available to view here Letters are being sent out to individuals who commented on the plan.

Get involved: Dates of the Delivery Board, Standing Conference and Specialist Groups The Specialist Group meetings are already underway – if you would like to be involved in one of the groups then please email specialistgroups@live.co.uk or phone 01420 473123 and speak to Chris Youngs. The Standing Conference will meet for the first time on Wednesday 2 March at 2:30pm in the Phoenix Theatre. The next meeting of the Delivery Board will be on Tuesday 15 March: 2.30pm in the Phoenix Theatre. Consultation - Viking Park The first consultation events have taken place. These included an exhibition at the Woodlark restaurant and a tour of the site. The exhibition boards from this consultation can be viewed here. There will be further consultation taking place over the coming months. To read more about this please click on this link.

Consultation - Economic Development and Employment Strategy Residents and businesses can comment on Whitehill Bordon Ecotown’s draft Economic Development and Employment Strategy which aims to create a vibrant local economy with an estimated 5,500 new jobs by 2028. The consultation is running from Monday 7 February until Monday 28 March. The document and survey can be found here. There are also hard copies of the document in the following locations: Forest Community Centre, Mill Chase Community Technology College, Alton Library, Liphook Library, EHDC’s offices in Petersfield, Alton Town Council and the parish council offices for: Kingsley Parish Council, Lindford Parish Council, Headley Parish Council, Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council, Greatham Parish Council and Selborne Parish Council.

Work soon to start on new boardwalk Work on a new boardwalk in Bordon Inclosure is a step closer to starting as a contractor has now been appointed. The boardwalk, which is being paid for by Eco-town funding, will be built to protect the habitat from further damage and allow walkers to cross the area. Read more about this here
