Revitalising Water Play Children love to experiment with water, and this natural desire leads to rich learning possibilities across the curriculum. They enjoy pouring and filling containers, discovering all of the ways water moves and reacts with other things, as well as using water as a context for imaginary play. Reshaping Role Play In the early years, dramatic play is closely connected to children’s everyday lives. Children relive all of the situations that are familiar to them. They become mum or dad, a baby or older sibling, help with the washing, cleaning, cooking, as well as eat together, feed or bath the baby.
