LOCATION: This position will be based at Brunel University predominately, with work at other sites as required.
ABOUT US:
The Trailfinders Rugby Academy is the academy of Ealing Trailfinders, an ambitious and progressive, rugby union club based in West-London.
The Trailfinders Rugby Academy pathway runs from sixteen years of age through our Ealing Trailfinders Elite Player (ETEP) Program into our University Academy based at Brunel University. The Academy’s aim is to produce world class talent through a dual elite rugby and academic journey.
This is the opportunity to join Trailfinders during a very exciting period of the Club’s history.
THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be required to assist and lead an area as required within the male academy framework. This position will report to the Academy Head of Athletic Performance and the Club Performance Director.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and deliver both gym and field based strength and conditioning sessions for athletes across the men’s pathway
• Collaborate with other members of the S&C department to continuously develop the service provided to athletes, in line with the needs of the program
• Work closely with the medical team to manage and assist in the RTP of select athletes as required
• Assist in the mentoring and development of intern members of staff throughout the season
• A more detailed job description will be made available at the shortlisting stage
• Promote, maintain and uphold standards within the club
THE PERSON
EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
• 2+ years full time experience as a Strength & Conditioning Coach / Athletic Performance Coach
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
• Undergraduate degree in Sport Science/related subject.
• Masters degree in Sports Science/related subject.
• UKSCA/ASCA/CSCS Qualification.

• This role will suit a candidate with some relevant and recent experience post university studies.
• The successful candidate will be an organised and enthusiastic coach with a passion for improving developing athletes.
