Polish presidency In UE Council 01.07.-31.12.2011 Dynamics, politive energy and solidarity with values it represents. It shows Poland as a young, modern country, initiating positive changes in Europe. The logo’s author is Mr Jerzy Janiszewski – the author of well-known logo of „Solidarity”, which became a historical symbol of Polish road to freedom and democratic changes in this part of Europe.

Cuisine PL Polish presidency provides the opportunity to promote Polish cuisine. One of the most appreciated chefs, Adam Chrząstowski, supervizes the creation of delicious menu with Polish meals on the basis of our native products for the high level meetings in Poland and Brussel. Foreign delegats and journalists visiting Poland during presidency will moreover receive the block of recipes to prepare Polish dishes, arrange in a modern way by 16 chefs, including three foreigners working in Polish restaurants on a daily basis. Point of departure for each of the recipe is the product associating with Polish cuisine (eg. herring, cucumber, wheat, poppy, game). Each recipe is preceded with understandable for the foreigner description of the product, incluing its cultural context.
