On behalf of the DxMA Annual Conference Planning Committee and 2010 DxMA President Karen Alvarado, I cordially invite you to attend the 32nd DxMA Annual Conference. This year’s program will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia – a city renowned for its historical significance, as well as strides toward economic and cultural innovation. Aptly titled DxINNOVATE – the 2010 DxMA Annual Conference will focus on marketing innovation to drive growth in a changing market. If you market to the clinical laboratory or to point-of-care testing providers, you simply can’t afford to miss this conference. General sessions, workshops and panel discussions are specifically designed to facilitate interaction and networking among industry colleagues. This is a unique opportunity to gain new insights from industry experts and others who face the same daily marketing challenges as you. Each session is packed with new ideas and innovative strategies you can apply to your business. I look forward to seeing you there. P H I L A D E L P H I A Named by William Penn, an English Quaker and the founder of the city, Philadelphia is a Greek word meaning “City of Brotherly Love.” The city grew rapidly, becoming the secondlargest English-speaking city in the world just before the American Revolution. Independence National Park in the Old City, near the Delaware River, is home to Independence Hall, where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were adopted. Logan Circle, where Four Seasons is located, brings the style of Europe to the birthplace of America with a design inspired by Place de la Concorde in Paris. Nearby are some of the city’s historical landmarks and worldrenowned Museum Row.

Travel & Accommodations Please plan to fly into the Philadelphia International Airport, located just 25 minutes from the hotel and served by all major domestic and international carriers. All major car rental firms operate at the airport, and taxi and limousine services are available at the terminal. Elegance itself, with contemporary classic furnishings inspired by the handsome Federal period, the Four Seasons is Philadelphia’s first choice for the business traveler. The eight-story Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is close to the financial and commercial districts, yet is surrounded by museums, shopping and history at One Logan Square.
