Nowadays, with urban development, landscape carries more features, especially the ecological function. One discusses ecological restoration planning of a landfill, it's about transformation in ecology and industrial structure, which will beneficial ecology and residents. The other is about habitat construction which focus more on wildlife. 02 LUHUADANG WETLAND PARK Urban wetland park design Landscape Architecture Design 05/2016-07/2016. , NJFU, Nanjing Instructor: Yang Yunfeng Solo Work

Background Intro With the rapid development of Chinese cities, many habitats are being covered by cement forests, especially in eastern China. It had the largest wetland system in China, but nearly 80% of it has been replaced by cities in the last 20 years. To solve the contradiction between man and wetland ecosystem, China started the construction of national wetland park. These large shallow lakes far away from the city and sparsely populated has become birds’ Noah's Ark. But most of cities in the east are built along the Yangtze River, preventing the links between birds in the National Wetland Park and the region's most important water body. In this case, we discuss the relaying task of National Wetland Park and the Yangtze River through the artificial construction of high-density plant communities in the limited area of adjacent cities. In this case, as much as possible to create terrain and habitats to fit the surrounding common birds. At the same time, as an urban wetland park, human activities are to try to avoid the conflict with nature through the viaduct, while meeting the needs of the surrounding different groups of activities.
