Les Augrès Manor Council Room Once the home of Durrell’s founder, Gerald Durrell, Les Augrès Manor is the hub of the wildlife park. Traditional granite walls and large paned glass french windows envelop historical memorabilia, a decorative granite fireplace and a large custom made table which acts as a significant feature of the room and is perfect for signing the wedding registry. Suitable for small wedding ceremony Maximum capacity – 20 seated Les Augrès Manor Courtyard The eighteenth-century manor house provides a wonderful backdrop for all weddings. Sheltered by three granite walls with beautifully sculptured gardens across the pathway, the courtyard is a stunning location for the ceremony, or drinks and canapés. Suitable for wedding ceremony or drinks reception Maximum capacity – 170 seated or standing Apple Orchard An enclosed area dappled in shade amongst apple trees with hand crafted picnic benches providing the ultimate summer drinks and canapé location, not only within the park but in Jersey as a whole. As you enter the Orchard through the arch of foliage there is a magical feeling no matter what the season, and with a rustic bar already in place there is nothing more you need to bring other than the drinks and canapés themselves. Les Noyers Lawn Surrounded by a lush green environment, far enough away from our endangered wildlife to allow music to be played, this extensive area of manicured grassland is perfect for the construction of marquees of any size or shape for a wedding reception to remember. Suitable for marquee reception Maximum capacity - 500 seated Kirindy Kabin Overlooking our recently developed Kirindy Forest exhibit, this newly built wooden cabin with covered balcony works well in all weather conditions, ideal for an intimate option of drinks and canapés for a small wedding party in an environment that is up close and personal with the wildlife. Suitable for drinks reception Maximum capacity - 30 standing Orangutan Longhouse With a spectacular view of our famous orangutan enclosure is Durrell’s longhouse, a wooden covered platform area that allows you to feel that you are in the trees with our furry friends.
