Powerhouse Needs Volunteers Volunteers ages 18 and older are needed at the Powerhouse Science Center for shifts of 2-4 hours between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. No experience necessary, though a background or interest in science, technology, art, engineering and math is helpful. Volunteer tasks include assisting in the exhibit gallery, at the front desk, the garden area and working on general projects that arise. A commitment of at least once a week is preferred.
